Volkswagen Centre of Saskatoon Reviews (%countItem)

Used car purchase. 1 month Warranty not honoured. Required $500 at another shop to fix. Still has key fob, headlight, and engine splash guard needed.
I purchased a 2007 *** from VW Center on Oct. 25th. After inspection rear left window and door would not open from inside car. Had winter tires installed on October 31st, and window regulator was ordered. Car sat at VW for 2 weeks waiting on parts. During this time the service manager left the company. I phoned and was told there were delays in the parts but could pick up my car. Nov. 14th I brought the car home. I took it to see *** at *** (*** He called with his findings and provided a quote ie cabin filter, air filter, brake flush, oil change, left halo headlight, and engine splash guard were needed. I've tried to get in touch with the sales associate who sold the car, but he has since left the company. GM and Sales managers will not return my calls, and new acting service manager will not authorize any work on this car.

Desired Outcome

I expect that before a used vehicle is sold it would have a basic service package performed. In this case it felt like they had only washed/detailed the vehicle. I spent $500.00 to have *** do this basic service package, and feel it would be fair for VW to compensate. I would like a replacement Halo headlight to be provided as well as the engine splash guard. I'm owed a second factory key fob under the Drive warranty sold by VW.

Remote starter that came with the car not working. Vehicle still under warranty.
I purchased a brand new VW Tiguan (Vin: ***) in Sep. 2017 from Saskatoon VW. I was told the car came with a remote starter (I didn't know at that point if it was factory installed or a 3rd party installed). Recently, I moved to ON in Sep 2019 and start of fall the remote starter started causing problems, where it didn't start the car remotely.
As the vehicle is still under warranty, I called the VW in Brampton on *** where ***, a service representative told me it would cost me to fix the remote starter as they didn't install it, so they won't repair it for free even if the vehicle is under warranty.
I called VW Saskatoon in early November to resolve the issue, where I was informed that VW Saskatoon gets their remote starters installed from *** on Quebec Ave in Saskatoon. The service representative brushed me off saying they would fix it at no cost as the vehicle is under warranty if I was in Saskatoon as they guarantee all their work from ***, but as I wasn't in Saskatoon, I'd have to get it fixed myself which could potentially void the warranty as a 3rd party would be working on it.
I called *** and emailed the manager *** who replied on Nov 25 saying "sorry for the inconvenience but *** will be the only one who will warranty their work and they aren't affiliated with anyone else and I'd have to get this sorted with VW Saskatoon.
I called *** in Service at VW Saskatoon on Nov 26, 11:38 am, who told me it's a complicated matter and would give me a callback regarding what to do. I asked her if they can get it fixed at no cost in Saskatoon why don't they get VW Brampton to fix it and foot the bill, save me from going to a 3rd party and getting the warranty voided.
I emailed VW Canada where *** called me 12:07 pm on Wed Nov. 27th and said VW Saskatoon has to sort out this situation.
I've been given so much runaround and trouble for a vehicle that's only 2 years old and well within the warranty. Remote starter was installed by VW Saskatoon without mentioning it's a 3rd party installed and could cause warranty issues if VW Saskatoon isn't the only one fixing it, if ever any problems arise.
Please get this situation sorted as I don't know who to call or contact anymore. At the time of selling the vehicle, everything is good but when warranty issues come up, a customer's left on their own.

Desired Outcome

To get VW *** to fix the remote starter at no charge to me as the vehicle is still under warranty.

Broken side panel of my car. they holding my money. After Volkswagen service my radio doesn't work.
I purchased my first car from dealership Volkswagen at summer 2014 and right before new year of 2014 I bought it one more car from dealership I bought Volkswagen Passat CC 2014 R line ***. and I'm really satisfied with service Volkswagen provide me with they literally break a lot of parts of my car a light bulb that was changing when I just bought the car what's put in wrong plus they broke 10 Clips out of the 12 from my panel

Desired Outcome

So at June of 2018 I brought my car to the dealership to fix my transmission we did all the stuff got to be done . I called them and I tell them I going to stop by to pay or all amount I own them make sure everything get ready because I'm working so when I get to the dealership I was waiting for 30 minutes to get all my receipts and stuff together and they charged me four wheel alignment but they never did Wheel Alignment soda put the note on a computer the only free wheel alignment so I tried to contact them and get my money back because I did my wheel alignment a different dealership and for three days now I'm trying to get my money back they tell me they need some supervisor to decide do they going to give me my my money or no so I want to make a complain about this they get my money out of my debit account for wheel alignment I need wheel alignment a different dealership because they don't do at the job properly at all I got to wait for them forever and they always break my card on fix my car saying about breaking my car when I just bought the car why don't my light bulbs in the right passenger side door panel. So when I was fixing my car a different dealership I tell them to check my pain a lot because when I was listening music she was always vibrating and they take the panel off and I still have a picture of it then off 12 Clips was broken my panel was barely in there after dealership change the light bulb and that's crazy have they can do that the other thing it's when my car was involved to the accident they change my bumper under the warranty they paint my bumper and after first car wash half of my pain pills off that's something what I want to say about this as well. The other thing when I brought my car to the dealership a June of 2018 my car was perfectly fine except if my transmission somewhere radio was working everything else was working fine I take my car out of the dealership he was staying in a side of the parking lot with a screw in rear left tire I start my car letter warm up I drove about three blocks to the other car service and my radio still wasn't able to to load so the other guys fix my tranny and they try to fix my radio but they wasn't able to figure out what's going on and I'm wondering right now who's going to fix my radio I brought my car with transmission issue to the dealership and I guess my car from them with a broken radio they telling me they did nothing about my radio but I'm still thinking maybe somebody broke something again and then I want to fix it for me.

Volkswagen Centre of Saskatoon Response • Jan 11, 2019

Good Morning, mutual agreement was reached with Mr. and he was refunded on January 10th 2019 for extra charge, therefore this complaint is now closed on our side.

I brought an advertisement from an Ontario VW dealership for the same car at a lower price to negotiate a fair price. The salesperson Brett Parker assured us their price was the same or cheaper as he quoted us a price including all taxes and fees. Upon receiving the final invoice $5788.03 in taxes was added to invoice as well as $1845.00 freight and delivery and a $599.00 dealer administration fee. This was misleading and unethical and we would not have purchased the vehicle as the final price is not at all what we agreed upon. Customer service has been terrible trying to resolve the issue and the salesperson has ignored multiple requests for a meeting and is avoiding us.
