I was shipping my automobile cross countryI went on the internet and found Roadrunner Auto transport and requested a free quoteThe quote was $When I filled out the booking information, they immediately requested my credit card information even though their advertising page says "No money up front"It stated a deposit of $was requiredThe next day a Melissa called and said that the price was now $ Feeling trapped I agreed, then they proceeded to take $from my account without my permission After calling them back and arguing with Melissa, they lowered the fee $and returned that to my accountTheir website advertises that using the booking number you can track the progress of your shipmentMy booking showed only showed that I booked the trip and a carrier had been assigned Even after it was delivered, no update was providedThe problem continuesThe vehicle was to be delivered on July **Late in the day, no vehicle had been delivered so I called RoadrunnerI was informed a dispatcher would contact meNo one didI had to call Monday in order to talk to a humanWhen I talked to Roadrunner they still had not done any investigationThey called me back approximately an hour later and said that the truck broke down for daysNow three days late, this was my first notification of a late vehicleI was informed it would be delivered on Wednesday the ***It was notThen after I called again they gave me the number of their sub-contractorThey said delivery Thursday Then they said delivery Friday The car was eventually delivered on Sunday night at approximately 9:pm They say they are not responsible for their sub-contractor but my contract was with them, not the sub-contractorI had selected Roadrunner because the Revdex.com gave them an A+ rating Please downgrade that Rating Thank you

We arranged for Roadrunner Auto Transport to transport both our vehicles from [redacted] to *** After agreeing on price and delivery date of June ***, a subcontractor, [redacted] , picked up both vehicles on June *** When my husband called Roadrunner for a delivery time on the ***, they could not give him one because they couldn't locate or contact the driver My husband called back multiple times in the days following and was told the same Calls to [redacted] were never answered or returned On June [redacted] the driver texted us to say he would arrive that evening He did not and did not offer an explanation He texted again on the [redacted] to say he would arrive after pm He did not and again did not offer an explanation On June [redacted] (days after contracted delivery date), and after we reported the cars stolen on the ***, we received a text from the driver saying he would arrive in an hour When he brought the cars we found chips in the windshield on one vehicle, with two beer bottles in the back of the same We don't drink alcohol and they weren't in the vehicle when we turned it over to them for transport The driver also admitted that he and his brother slept in our vehicle The stench still remains after detailing the car! The key he provided for the other vehicle was not the valet key we gave him He claimed he lost that key and had to make a new one As it is unlikely he could make a copy of a key he lost, we believe he had our ignition changed That fact that my original car key no longer starts the car, supports our suspicion He at no time called us to report the lost keyRoadrunner Auto Transport sub-contracted our vehicle transport to [redacted] , whose employees were completely unprofessional, at best, and illegally altered one of our vehicles Integrity means nothing to these companies I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!

I contacted them on December ** and explained that before I would commit to anyone, I needed to be absolutely positive that they would be there to pick up my vehicle no later than Friday, December [redacted] as the trip was only going to last weeks and the transport would take 7-days They assured me that would not be a problem as there were plenty of open spots so it would "for sure" be Friday if not earlier I called Friday morning to follow up and find out what time the truck was coming They said since they were closed half a day on Wednesday and all day Thursday, they had not gotten us a spot on a truck yet I understand closing for the holiday but why he promised without a doubt there was a spot for me and it would get done and then didn't follow through on that commitment is wrong They should not have promised until that car was plugged in on a truck with an assigned driver I am very disappointed This is not how you do businessWe still have cars to ship but we will never use Road Runner I am so tired of people that don't assume responsibility

Firstly, I received a number of quotes to ship my son's Jeep from Washington to Louisiana with most of them being around the $1,mark, while RoadRunner quoted $1,under contract # [redacted] I decided to pay the extra money to ship with via RoadRunner as I was led to believe that their service would be both superior and reliable knowing that I needed the vehicle to depart in two to four daysKyle promised me that this would not be an issue and that I would hear back from dispatch relatively immediately with transport likely within hoursNaturally, a deposit was provided In making a long story short, calls to Kyle over the next seven days went unanswered with others from RoadRunner calling me back eventually with more lies and promises of shipping the following dayCalls to the manager also went unreturned and after ten days had passed, as well as a missed flight to see my son off to university frustration was certainly settling inAt this point in the game, I was out $in airfare and more importantly was unable to take my son to university awaiting to drop his vehicle with continuous promises of tomorrows RoadRunner knew from the outset of my timetable and the fact that I was to be on a flight on August **, Somehow it appears that on both occasions that they booked a driver that there was a breakdown necessitating canceling my outbound transport?!? Finally, when I called dispatch for the eleventh time on August **, 2016, I was informed that I could either pay them $1,now to ship the vehicle or they would be happy to cancel my contract and waive the non-refundable feeIn translation, another $surcharge after days of promises or the threat of contractual terminationIn desperation, I accepted their terms with a confirmed transport for August **, with drop-off on September *, The vehicle was in fact delivered on September **, ROADRUNNER is simply the WORST company to do business with complemented by a dedicated office of deceitful compliant liars expert in the old bait and switchHeed my words: "Stay far, far away from RoadRunner Auto TransportNo one else could be worse or more deceitful!?!
