Review: I made an appointment to go in and get my hair cut and highlighted, and I believe it was on Saturday April 12. I went into the salon and the stylist began to quickly put highlights into my hair. Without asking the stylist took the bleach comb and bleached half of my hairline. When she was finished I paid $96 without tip and left the salon with my hair wet. I live right next door and I could blow dry it myself. I knew when I left the salon something wasn't right, but I did not complain. I went home and dried my hair and noticed that almost all of the highlights she put in my hair bled through and left blonde blobs all over my head. There was also a blonde blob on half of my hairline. The coloring was streaking and was not blended at all. I called the salon and told them about the issues I had with my hair and they gave me an appointment to come back in and they would fix it. I went to the salon that next day and the stylist tried to fix it, but did not fix it completely. She added low lights, but the blonde blobs were still all over my hair. The stylist took several pictures of my head and told me that she was going to show the pictures to the owner. She made it clear to me that this type of work is unacceptable. I called the salon 3 times since that appointment to speak to one of the owners and they will not call me back.
I then had to go to a different hair stylist and pay $85 more for her to break up the blonde blobs that bled through and she had to add more highlight to help blend my hair, so that it wasn't two completely different colors. I was told by the receptionist that the salon has a policy that states, "If you are not happy with your hair, that they will fix it free of charge within 7 days of your hair appointment". The salon did try and fix it for free, but they did not fix it completely and I was not satisfied with the blonde blob still on the top of my head. I paid over $96 for a service that wasn't worth more than $20. This type of service is unacceptable, especially because the owners did not feel the need to return the 3 phone calls and messages I left.Desired Settlement: I should have received a full refund for the highlights, the service I received was not worth $96.
