MrC***, It was clearly explained to you that our services were based on an hourly rate not a flat rate amount, the phone quote is just a guestimate based on the phone conversation You never spoke to our company about havingt an on site survey, you must be confusing our company with someone else However, even if we had gone to do an on site survey our pricing structure is still based on an hourly rate We have a signed contract where you agreed to the terms and conditions of the contract I do apologize your move took longer however when you have a full truck of furniture it is most certainly going to take longerBased on the inventory you provided the truck should only have been half full this was not the case.If you have any further questions please contact our officeThank You, A&C Brothers Moving & Storage###-###-####

Rebuttal to complain [redacted] Company responded to Revdex.com so I did research and provide a new claim form on March with original sales receipts for the furniture that was chipped/scratched along with invoices for the stolen Art work and frameOn March 23rd Art Lopez responded that it is taking awhile since they don't have any invoicesi then resent the claim to himI have since sent an email every week but now have no response from Art or A and C moving and StorageThe first time I submitted my claim they denied my claim in less then a weekIt appears this company is now not responding to avoid responsibility for the stolen items and damaged furnitureI would like a refund for the stolen items and either compensation or repair of my bedroom furniture

We apologize for the damaged items we did receive your pictures the first set that were sent were not clear as I think the picture was take too close The second set were visible and some of the chips do look as if they could have been done during the move Some of the other scratches just by looking at the piece look old However this does not disqualify you from filing a claim with our companyOur company provided you with a claim form and indicated on the instructions that the form must be filled out completely The form was not filled out completely, an email was sent back to you advising you of this, you asked what specific areas needed to be filled out and we have the correspondence where we responded with you on those details You acknowledged the areas that needed to be completed As of 03/12/we still have not received your updated claim form, in order to proceed with the claim please fill out the form completely and return to our office Furthermore the rate that was give to you was based on an hourly rate we a signed contract where you agreed to the hourly rate In addition after the move was completed you did call our office and complained the movers worked slow and we did refunded you $ However the move only took hours Your bedroom home was on the second floor and our staff almost filled up the entire truck Maybe you have not moved before or hired movers but this is an intense labor service, and to get your move accomplished in hours is no unreasonable considering the amount of belongings you had We are sorry you feel that our service was not up to part with your standards Please submit the correct paperwork to our office and we can most certainly handle your claimThank You,A&C Brothers Moving###-###-####

I have never been able to speak to anyone when I called about this issue I was always told the person I need to speak with will call me back and I never got a call vackThen I also have a receipt that was given to me with a.final price diffrent from the 43$ that they say I now owe which I can provideI have not once talked to anyone nor did I know about the additional fees that I was chargedI just want the fees waived and the furniture lifted of my plugs and my dresser corrected where they broke the original back peices and replaced with some discolored wood pieces

Art, Neither my husband nor I ever signed off on the final delivery of our itemsOur stuff was packed properly as shown in the pictures we sent youThe boxes were smashed on the corners and top, resulting in the broken itemsThe boxes were in perfect condition when your movers packed them from the first houseIf they were not its your job to call that to our attention or note it on our paperwork for you to avoid liabilityThe broken and scratched items were barely opened from the bubble wrap they were packed inI called your lead mover Sunday night and expressed my concern for the condition of some of our stuff and the over charge, and again called you the next dayYou had many excuses why you took days to return our callYou and your lead man were on the phone when we were forced to sign the credit card charge or you refused to unpack our itemsWe were also told that an estimated end time was charged along with extra charges you failed tell us before signingYou and your lead man agreed if the charges were in excess of the time spend you would credit us backYou put us off and called me a liar when I told you your men did not work the time chargedYour men also stood around and did nothing while you charged us for those chargesI watched your movers bounce down our stairs totes full of trophies that were wrapped excessively in bubble wrapAs was all of our breakable itemsNOT NEWSPAPER as your movers would have usedYou are responsible for all the damages done to our items and the over charge you charged to our card, that was more then the credit you refunded usYou lied and your movers damaged our stuffYour scammers and should be put out of businessAt this time we still request a full refund!!

Mr. C [redacted] our services are based on an hourly rate, the contract that you signed clearly states that, we do not flat rate work. We have a 2 hour labor minimum with a 1 time travel fee. You only paid for the amount of hours that my men worked. On the phone this was explained to you... as well, we give you a best guess scenario in terms of how long we think the job may take however, if there is more to be done obviously it will take longer to complete the job. The statement Ms S [redacted] is making is incorrect, MsS [redacted] was aware of the damage that occurred and new that the damage happened while in transit from the origin to AZ MsS [redacted] was even upset at her husband for the way he loaded it.The movers confirmed that Ms S [redacted] was upset at her husband due to how he loaded the furniture and was not protected either MsS [redacted] than later tried to blame the movers for the damage, her complain came in after the movers left.Therefore A&C Brothers Moving is not liable for that damage as the company did not load her truck or transport her HHGThank You, A&C Brothers Moving
