Response:
Mr. [redacted], I tried to contact you by phone with no luck.In your complaint, you are requesting a refund of $300.00. You used your vision coverage benefits where total out of pocket charges paid by you came to $170.40. Of that total, $120.00 was your out of pocket charges for the eyeglasses. The remainder was exam charges. If you would like a refund in the amount of $120.00 for the eyewear, please return them to the Visionfirst office by November 30th, and we will be happy to refund. Please ask for a copy of your prescription, and we can provide you one if you care to purchase eyewear elsewhere. When you returned to the office months ago to discuss your options, we also offered to remake the eyeglasses into a style much better suited for enhanced intermediate viewing but price was a concern of yours. Several options were discussed and you mentioned you would let us know what you decided. We heard nothing until receiving this letter from the Revdex.com. With your delayed response, I don't know for sure if your benefits provider will re-establish new benefits for you or consider them exhausted. If you would like, we would be happy to contact them and try and do that for you once you return for the refund. I'm truly sorry we could not ensure your total satisfaction. Sincerely, [redacted] General Manager Visionfirst [redacted]
