Review: We have one furnace that supplies heat to the 1st and 2nd floor of our home. We were experiencing problems with the heat. We did not have any heat. We called "[redacted]" Plumbing, Heating & Cooling (from the Yellow Pages) and a gentleman named "[redacted]" came to the house on 2/`15/15, and after trying to correct the problem he told us we needed a new motor and for $1,900 he would pick up a new motor and install it. So he did on the 16th. He gave us a bill marked paid for the $1,900, but we did not realize that the bill wasn't broken down. We do not know what the part cost was or the cost of the labor. We paid cash. We are still experiencing trouble with the heat. The first floor doesn't get any heat and the room temperature is 56 degrees. On the second floor all the radiators get hot except for the one in the bathroom. The unit [redacted] replaced heated the 2 family house without problems until now. [redacted]l supposedly installed a larger unit. But it does not work. We called him and he was supposed to come back, but when we called again to find out if and when he was coming he told us he was not coming and hung up the phone. When we tried to call him back there was no answer. All the phone numbers we tried are as follows: [redacted]; and [redacted] One of these phones answered as V.I.P. Plumbing. All phones were answered by the same voice, which sounded like [redacted] voice. When we asked what the replacement motor cost he said he didn't know because he worked for a company and just picked it up from them. I think he is self-employed and is operating as different companies. Now we are stuck without heat and no one to correct the botched up job this [redacted] did. Also we asked [redacted] for an itemized bill but did not get one. Please help.Desired Settlement: The job to be done correctly so that we can get the heat we previously enjoyed. And, also, we would like an itemized bill for parts and labor.
