I hired MsVincent to represent me in my child custody and divorce caseI should have done more research before selecting herUpon our first meeting, she painted a picture of how my case would look and assured me that I would no longer need to communicate with the other party and assured my son's safetyWe put down our deposit and were made to believe that deposit would cover my case, since it was likely an easy win They blew through our first few thousand dollars and quickly asked for moreWhen I asked what had been done for my case, they had little to showI asked them to please hold off on making any more moves until I could get some more money for themNot only did they ignore my request, but they did irreversible damage to my case, they ran up several thousand dollars in unnecessary costs, and I had to speak with the other party to find an agreement After being brutally beat and raped by the other party, this law group had the decency to tell me to "get over it because people change"They would call and charge me for it when I told them my work schedule, then continue to contact me when they knew I wasn't availableThis is not how you do business, let alone treat another human being, especially one who is a paying customerI would tell anyone looking for an attorney that they are better off alone than to give any time or money to this businessI won my case after getting help from another attorney and judge who helped reverse the damage Vincent Family Law caused, then I represented myself Please save your money and don't allow them to harm your family the way they did mineSome of their actions can never be undone, and my extended family is still dealing with the mess they made

Do your research and find another attorneys office to handle your divorceGoing through a divorce is not pleasant and the staff here did not make it any easierI was dealing with an incompetent paralegal that made countless clerical errors on my paperworkI was called to schedule an appointment to meet with Catherine V*** to review my papers and sign them to be filedWell, that was a waste of everyone's time because the papers were beyond incomplete, after I was told it wasThe first thing I was asked is if I had my copiesNo, I do notred flag! Then we began looking over everythingSo much was missing and yet no one bothered to tell me what I needed just was rushed to schedule an appointment to sign final court papersThe attorney was not shy about showing her disgust towards the paralegal and what was not done yetI found that to be very unprofessional and I was very disappointed and upset about this happeningI felt it was just a way to be able to charge me more moneyLater I sent in an email expressing my concerns and how I felt that I should not be charged for this visit because they were not preparedThe charges credited back, but then I was also told that I could just not be their client anymoreAs if I made an errorLast I checked I am the one paying you to help meLooking back I feel I should have found a new attorneyWhere is the customer service and empathy towards clients going through this hard time in life? Whenever I was emailed my invoices I got a sick feeling in my stomach because I was being charged and charged for people to be reviewing my case through out this whole process yet it seemed to be going no where yet they always wanted more and more money from meThere was so many of the other clerical errors I caught which if not caught by myself could have been huge issues on my legal papersThe worst one was where my income was switched with my ex husbands incomeAnd they almost had his wage garnishments going to his old employerMy judgement was even rejected by the courts because of their clerical errorsAfter I sat with the attorney for almost hours going through it to be sure it was correctUnfortunately the errors caused my judgement to be re-submittedI was assured I would not be charged for these changes because the were all clerical errorsI am still seeing these charges on my invoices and when I try to address the charges being removed, my email and calls are not returnedNow finally my case is done and final, but yet still having another issueI have been waiting for my ex husbands wages to be garnished for weeks nowI finally get a letter from a payroll company asking for forms I do not haveTwo days go by and countless phone calls to try and figure this outI am told by the state of California that the income withholding order which was only sent to the employer should have been sent to the state of California Child Support unit not the employerAnd that the income withholding order should not have both child support and spousal support on one, there should be two orders one for child support and one for spousal supportBecause the spousal support did not have to be processed through the stateI would think that my attorney and paralegal would know this stuff, right?? This is extremely frustrating because I need that money so now I am going to have to wait several more weeks to receive any fundsI am a single mom with kids I work part time jobs and have not been receiving much help from their father/my exSo once again their incompetent errors have struck againThis one now causing me a huge financial hardshipI want to also mention that I was very dissatisfied with how I was treatedTheir level of empathy and professionalism is seriously lackingAs a paying client I was very upset when I experienced their rude unprofessional-ism when I expressed my concernsAfter seeing other reviews, I agree with them it is all about the money in their pockets
