I reject your analysis of the current situation.  At the time of purchase, your site advertised the ticket class "Platea" as an intermediate option between the Platea Preferencial and Platea Sur ticket classes.   It was not a seller but rather your own site who advertised this section.There is an important price difference between Platea Sur and Platea Preferencial and therefore you cannot simply say that the tickets will be located in "Platea".  I would also like to point out that Platea Sur does not offer assigned seats whereas Platea Preferencial does. These are two distinct products.  "Platea" does not exist nor is it a general "class" by any standards.I repeat, it was your site and not a seller that advertised a third "Platea" section and it was clearly indicated on your map as sections 29, 30, 5 and 6.  You have admitted to your mistake by correcting it online and I now require the full reimbursement for the product I have purchased as is not and cannot be sold to me "as advertised".

this information upon receipt of the tickets themselves. You have purchased 'Platea' tickets - this is a general section, and can refer to either 'Platea Preferencial' or 'Platea Sur'. Rest assured, you will receive tickets within the Platea section.

We can see that e-tickets were received and downloaded by the customer on 05/**/2017 (event date: **/05/2017). He then successfully re-sold those tickets on **/05/2017, and his payment was processed to his selected payment method (PayPal) on 04/**/2017. We hope this has helped to clarify the matter.

Hi Revdex.com.org, I am [redacted] from Manila, Philippines.
I have recently purchased tickets from Viagogo for the Metallica concert in Hong Kong on Jan.20, 2017.
The purchase was made on Dec.22, 2016, and up to yesterday I had no reason to worry yet since I have been receiving updates and my queries have been answered within a day or two (via email and their App).
However, yesterday I have been reading so much negative
feedback from various site and i'm worried that the same would happen to me.
Is there a way you could help, so they could ensure that they hold up their end of the deal and we do get sent valid tickets?
We've saved-up for quite a while to ba able to afford this event, and have flights and accommodations already. It would be such a disappointment to travel all the way for nothing.

Review: My complaint with viagogo is multi-faceted and has led me to believe that they are an unethical business in many ways:

1. Misrepresentation in Advertising - in advertising their product, I thought I would have my purchase confirmed immediately and that the tickets I were to be purchasing were already secured and ready to be sent off. This was not the case as when I clicked purchase, I was sent an email saying that they "were waiting to confirm my purchase."

2. Misrepresentation in Customer Service - prior to making the purchase, I called to confirm the process that viagogo goes through given these were World Cup tickets and I would need names changed on the tickets for securing my visa. The customer service rep basically told me what I wanted to hear (that yes they would change the name), but it turns out that this is not the case - once I clicked purchase and found out that this was not the case, I immediately submitted an internal email to their customer service to cancel the purchase, which was logged while the purchase was "still waiting for confirmation."

3. Unethical Credit Charges - in response to my email on "cancelling the purchase," which was submitted before purchase was confirmed, viagogo decided to "confirm my purchase" instead of addressing that this purchase had been requested to be cancelled. The fact that they received a cancel purchase email PRIOR to confirming the order, but then decided to confirm the order is incredibly unethical!

4. Unethical Customer Service - once I noticed the "confirmed purchase" I immediately called customer service. They said they could not cancel the purchase and that I would have to just take the tickets and re-list them on their website. They then also said that they would talk with a manager to see what could be done and would email me back, I never received any response. I then called back the next day given the lack of response and this time, the individual (Manoj something) REFUSED TO TRANSFER ME TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. He said it is viagogo's rules that they do not transfer to customer service unless THEY feel it is necessary. After about 30 minutes of discourse on this, he still refused to transfer me and said I could either email their customer service or write a hand written note and send it to Switzerland - then hung up.

All of these have me thinking that viagogo is an unethical business which I will never work with again and I suggest no one else does either.Desired Settlement: A full refund of the charge and an apology note would be greatly appreciated.

Review: I purchased Tickets from the viagogo system to be in a specific area. I didn't receive the tickets that were purchased and they shipped me not only the wrong tickets but in a completely and utterly different area.

Review: I wanted to cancel the order in the minute I finalized it. I sent an email and they said they wouldnt cancel my order. The description of the tickets was incompleted and confused. I look for the seller information, to try to contact him, but there was non! Also the price was absurd compare to the tickets that were beein selled on the oficial site. I am from [redacted] and viagogo has a website all in portuguese but doesnt assist [redacted] costumers in our naive language, who doesent speaks english is screwed.Desired Settlement: I want to return the ticket that just arrived today, and I want my money back!

We ordered 4 tickets to a STEELEY DAN concert in Austin (order[redacted]) and was told that we would get an email with the downloadable tickets a few days before the concert. The EMAIL NEVER ARRIVED and Viagogo never responded to our concerns. There is no way to contact the company other that to us it's "contact us" link on their website.

Continued efforts to contact Viagogo have not resulted in satisfactory answers or a refund.
