I used Veteran's Plumbing and Drain after my water heater started to leak My home warranty company was slammed with calls because it the time when all the hurricanes bombarded the southern US so Veteran's kept me in the loop before I got approval for the repair
Veteran's was very courteous and their reps and servicemen were very kind and thorough about explaining the process My home is very old so they gave me some honest pointers and repaired what they could within the allowed costs that my warranty allowed to keep my home in good shape for years to come

I woke up today 12/26/to find my water heater pouring water out of the cold water inletI called Old Republic who is my home warranty company and they set me up with VETERANS PLUMBING & DRAIN LLC
Being a Veteran myself I was happy that these guys were going to fix my problem...little did I realize
The first issue was the tech was supposed to call me minutes prior to coming, I have a 1/year old son and two large dogs that bark if someone rings the doorbell so this is fairly important to meWhile my son was napping I hear repeated rings from my doorbell which caused my dogs to bark which then woke my son up
Once the tech made it to the water heater he looks at it for about seconds, doesn't ask what is wrong, doesn't try to diagnose the problem, NOTHINGHe goes out to his truck to make a phone call and tells me that he is going to replace the tank but a few things aren't covered by my warranty, which comes to roughly $on top of the $service fee
After I declined paying that much he then asks me for my $service fee, which I inform him that I do not have to pay to himI called up Old Republic myself to verify this and by this point he tells me "don't worry about it, ill just write down that the customer refused to pay" to which I agreed
Once the tech left I decided to get someone from Old Republic on the phone and let them know what had happenedThe lady who I spoke with told me that the tech had also told them that my water heater was more than years old and it needed to be replaced regardlessI informed the lady that my water heater is only years old
They told me I wouldn't have to pay the service fee and that they would send a new company out to look at it
I will not only never use this company ever again, but I will do my best to make sure everyone knows how poorly this company conducts its business

If I could give a zero, I wouldThis company is total and complete garbageI was referred to Veterans Plumbing by my home warranty companyOn their initial visit, after I had already described the issue at hand and the recommendation from the first plumber who was unable to solve the problem, the plumber who showed up was not equipped to complete the job and left without doing any work
I was rescheduled for the following week for an appointment between and At 2pm, nobody had showed upI called the office and was told the plumber was running late but would still be there
At 4:30, I called again to find out where the plumber was and I was told that the "truck brokedown" and that I would have to reschedule
Today, I was scheduled for an appointment between and I called the office at 9:to confirm that my timeline was still good and was told that I would now be seeing a plumber between and I called the office again around after the plumber did not show up and was told I would get a call from the plumber in about minutesAt 3pm he called, said he had no idea what he was scheduled to do when he arrived, but that he would be here after he stopped at Home Depot for supplies I explained the issue and sent him photos at his request of the problemAt 4:I tried calling him back to see where he was and if he was still comingNo answerI called the office and it was closed
If you are considering this company to do your work, ask yourself if you want it to be fixed or notIf you do want it to be fixed, call someone else who will actually show up and actually cares about providing service to customers

I had a simple slow draining bathroom sinksthe people that showed up at 430pm from a window of 3-5pm came in, I showed them the sinks, explained to them the problem and expected them to unclog my sinksthe man opened my faucet to master bath saw the slow draining problem then proceeded to walk out the front door with his woman apprenticeshe was holding the work order in her hands the whole timethey went to their truck sat there for minutes.I went outside to find out whats going on and she told me they were checking on something then I asked her about the work order she said she has itso I went back inside my home and minutes later they left with no reasonI called numbers and no answers to any of them from vet plumbing and drainthen I called my home warranty and told them the situation and they proceeded to find me another contractorI just want to say your company sucks and your Mexican workers you sent are worthlessI'm reporting you to the Revdex.com and the news media all over the valleyI hope your business will shut down for good because of your ignorance and negligence to fix a simple clogged drain

I called veterans plumbing out on an emergency throughout the weekend the pricing was reasonable, and the customer service was excellent

Failed to install WaterHeater properly and not double bill as they tried to do
We hired Veterans Plumbing on 8/5/to reinstall a failed water heater in our house that they installed years ago So I called them on sunday they promised to send a gallon water heater and install it the next day on 8/6/ We gave the office the model number and serial number because we had a warranty which covered the water heater itselfThey showed up hours late the next day and the plumber tells us that they he was not the employee that was supposed to come out I told him no problem go ahead and install the new water heater He tells me the owner did not get him one like he was suppose too appartenly But I would be happy to help you out by looping the water line so you can have water tonight He knocks on my door around and tell me he needs payment and I can payment for just for the loop I figured we would deduct that portion from the $install price h

I have had two service calls to my home concerning clogged drainsTwo different servicemen and both very knowledgable and polite They corrected the problems in good time and cleaned up afterwardThe problems were different - not related The charges were reasonable
