As shown in the customer’s own screen shots, he was initially quoted $for the assembly of two pieces of furniture a book shelving unit and an entertainment center, then having the entertainment center mounted on a wall through the *** siteHe was told that if he booked his service directly
through the VetPros website he would save on the twenty percent service fee charged by *** for all jobs, (meaning he would pay just $total for his service)Prior to the date and time of service, the customer was told that VetPros does not charge flat rate fees for our projectsCharges are established "per service" with hourly rates, at a minimum of one hour per serviceAlso prior to the service date, the client's service was estimated at two hours of handyman service at $per hour totally $150, that would have given him the exact savings of twenty percent less than the amount quoted on *** as promisedAlso, prior to the service date, the client complained about the pricing stating that his service should be split between furniture assembly and handyman servicesWe responded by adjusting his price as requested to hour of each service (hour handyman service at $75/hr and hour of furniture assembly service at $65/hr)This brought his total payment down to $instead of the $150, saving him a total of $off the $he would have paid on ***Prior to the date and time of service, the customer called and said that one piece of his furniture might not be delivered in timeThis had no effect on his price because there is a hour minimum per serviceWhether a project takes minutes or minutes to complete, there is a one hour minimum per service for all services and this client received a considerable savings from the original *** quote as promised no matter how you view itHowever, the second piece of furniture did arrive shortly after our associate arrivedWhile our associate was performing the service, Mr. Cassagnol made our associate aware of the fact that he needed to leave his home shortly for work, so our associate wrapped up his work, having assembled the client’s entertainment center and mounted it onto the wall; (which accounted for the assembly of one piece of furniture and the handyman service), then confirmed with the client that he would return to assemble the second piece of furniture (a small shelving unit) and perform additional work which the client mentioned on another dateWe were surprised to receive a email and complaint from this client who stated that since only piece of furniture was assembled, he deserved an additional price cut.Repeatedly, we have explained to this client that prices aren’t based on a number of items to be serviced, but the actual service(s) and the hourly rates for those individual services with a hour minimum for each service. We even offered to assemble MrCassagnol's second piece of furniture for free (which would have easily taking 25-mins), but he declined saying that he assembled it himselfStill, two separate services were performed for this client at the minimum hourly rate for each service totaling $and giving MrCassagnol at total of $off of the $which he would have paid through ***We simply cannot make anymore concessions for this unpleasable client.Sincerely,VetPros Staff VetPros, Inc. made our associate aware of the fact that he nee to leave his home shortly for work, so our associate wrapped up his work quickly as not to inconvenience the client, having assembled the client’s entertainment center and mounted it onto the wall, (which accounted for the assembly of one piece of furniture and the handyman service), then confirmed with the client that he would return to assemble the second piece of furniture (a small shelving unit) and as well as perform additional work which the client mentioned on another dateWe were surprised to receive a call and complaint from this client who stated that since only piece of furniture was assembled, he deserved an additional price cut Repeatedly, we have explained to this client that prices aren’t based on a number of items to be serviced, but the actual service(s) and the hourly rates for those individual services with a hour minimum for each service. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
As VetPro conceded in his first paragraph, I was told I “would pay just $total” for service (“assembly of two pieces of furniture a book shelving unit and an entertainment center, then having the entertainment center mounted on a wall”)On these grounds alone, how is he charging me $for completing 2/of the services? Is he saying that 1/of the service would have cost $15??? He subsequently goes on to say he brought my payment down to $140, yet he DID NOT COMPLETE THE WORK. When the second piece arrived is irrelevant, as it was there during the visit. I did not inform the associate I had to leave while he was thereThis is a lieI requested an early morning appointment, because I knew I had to leave in the afternoonEden changed this appointment, because he had a morning engagementHe EXPRESSLY stated that the entire project would take LESS THAN HOURS, so I should have no concern about leaving on time It took Eden almost hours to assemble one piece of furniture and a very short time to mount itHe expects me to believe that assembling the second piece would have taken 25-minutes??? That is another lieThe second piece was more complex than the first one(As he well knewLinks to both pieces were provided when I asked for estimates.) He expected me to let him charge me another hour to assemble the second piece*** policy states: Your pro will review their best estimate of the cost with you before the job begins, and will notify you if anything unexpected comes up on the job that may require a price changeVetPro talked me out of booking through *** in an attempt to get $from me for doing 2/of the work and charging me an extra $(or more) to complete it

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The business did not make the offer at the time he was unable to complete the quoted services; therefore, I was forced to take hours of my own time to complete the servicesAFTER I informed the business that I was dissatisfied with being charged for incomplete services, the business offered to complete the serviceToo lateI provided links to the exact pieces that includied assembly instructionsIf the business is unable to actually provide a real estimate based on that, I will not be held responsibleLuring customers off ***, grossly underestimating the work, charging someone after you said a customer is only charged after they've approved the invoice, these are all deceptive business practicesI have no problem escalating this to ***, so they are aware VetPros talks customers out of doing business through them as well as reporting this to the New York Attorney General's Office

We have repeatedly clarified that VetPros does not offer services based on number of items but rather the ("service")  being offered at a minimum of 1 hour per service. This was also explained to this client on the phone prior to service. Yet the customer insisted on us changing method of charging for service because he assembled one of the units himself, rejecting our offer to assemble the last piece for free and now wants reimbursement. We have nothing more to say on this matter and will offer no more responses.
