Review: On Wed.8/27/14 They came to my house and repossessed my car. I just bought this with $2000 down & I had actually made my first $300 payment 10 days early. Even tho I contacted them & sent them the receipt & they admitted they had made a mistake, I still don;t have my Car. I have a baby & his father was killed in a hit & run in front of our house 2 months ago. I bought the car to help me get to work & help with my son. It is labor day weekend, 90 % & I believe the company went home for the holiday without returning my car. They had 2 working days before now. I want it delivered to my house where they (stole)it from, I have to take the bus, it's so hard with my baby & the stroller to go to some lot place. They didn't even tell me where it was , but they did mention storage fees. I'm crying...Desired Settlement: I want my car delivered back to my house & a payment reduction for the time they had it in their possession. Plus bus fare & Babysitting I had to pay, cause I couldn't get anything done with the baby in 90% weather..

Review: I had to relocate to Washington State for work from San Diego CA. I purchased my first vehicle from Balboa Motors dealer at 6101 MISSION GORGE RD San Diego, CA 92120 in March 2013. Due to the fact that I am a first time buyer and lack of credit, the dealer told me that I am approved with a loan with their own financing company and later found out it was VEROS CREDIT. Since then, I have been up to date on paying my loan on time. Not until I moved to Washington State on March 2014 that I have experienced a lot of inconvenience, stress, suffering, run-around and very dishonor promises from VEROS CREDIT. As soon as I settled in Washington State in March 2014, I took my vehicle to DMV Washington to get it register and the first document they requested was LIEN HOLDER TITLE to register my vehicle.

In first week of April, I called VEROS CREDIT and spoke to [redacted] to follow up with a request from DMV about my title and the run around started. First [redacted] told me that they can not release the title until I paid up my vehicle. I told her I understood that but I just need them to fax or send LIEN HOLDER TITLE directly to DMV Washington so that I could get my vehicle register so that I could go to work. She promised me on the phone she will respond to DMV request in 3 days. After a week, no LIEN TITLE yet to DMV. I called [redacted] from VEROS credit she told me that I needed my references updated first before they send my title over to DMV. So, I got everything and she promised me again that it will take 3 days and still no LIEN TITLE. Then she told me I need to update my personal information including a paystub from my new job. I did everything she requested but still no LIEN TITLE. I have been going back and fourth with her. Keep in mind that I am still up to date on my payment never late. It is July 31 today and my California car registration is expired and my vehicle is sitting in the parking lot. Its so frustrating and I do not know what to do with my vehicle. Help!Desired Settlement: All I want from VEROS CREDIT is to send the LIEN TITLE of my vehicle to me or directly to DMV Washington State so that I could get my vehicle register so that I could go to work. I drive 40 minutes to work and right now I have to rent a car to get to work. Why is it taking so long to get the title over?? I has been a long 5 months!! By the way, DMV Washington requested the title from VEROS Credit 3X. I NEED THE LIEN TITLE SENT DIRECTLY TO DMV WASHINGTON TO THAT I COULD GET MY VEHICLE REGISTER. Veros Credit has been so inconvenience to my family.!!!

Review: Veros Credit by far is the most unethical company out there. I'm one of the many victims involved in their scams and unprofessional. How can I explain how much this company has put me through. First of charging me an additional 50 dollars since the time I started my loan all due to their lack of competence. Over a year I have called to submit my insurance information and was informed that they never received it. A second time I was informed that they had lost it. It was mailed in and finally gave me the excuse that the insurance was not valid. I'm a single mother who has been dealing with this horrible company. Not only have I been harassed by them because they have raised my monthly payment due to their lack of competence. They have repossessed my car and added fees on top of that. I had a lawyer involved in settling with them and got my car back and have now realized they ruined my credit. I have read their reviews and went in to the place were they repossess all the cars. It was distgusting to see that im not the only person who has dealt with people like them. It was a lot full of cars. They do this on a daily basis.

Response:

Dear Complaint Department:

This communication is

in response to a business complaint filed on July 9, 2015, by Ms. [redacted] with the following complaint ID#: [redacted]. The details of this

incident were forwarded to Veros Credit, LLC's Compliance Department where a

full and thorough investigation into this matter was carried out.

Veros Credit strives to provide excellent

customer service to its customers and its representatives would never

communicate with its' customers in a rude or inappropriate manner. Ms. [redacted] is encouraged to stay in contact

with Veros Credit's customer service department to assist with future needs. Below I have outlined Veros Credit’s response

to Ms. [redacted]’s concerns addressed in her complaint.

Vehicle Insurance

Veros Credit entered into a retail

installment sale contract with Ms. [redacted], under which it was agreed to that:

"You agree to buy property insurance on

the Vehicle protecting against loss and physical damage and otherwise

acceptable to us." . . . "If you fail to obtain or maintain this

insurance . . . we may obtain insurance

to protect our interest in the Vehicle . . ." . . ."We will add the

premium for this insurance to the amount you owe us. Any amount we pay will be due

immediately. This amount will earn

finance charges from the date paid at the rate described in the FINANCE CHARGE

AND PAYMENTS section until paid in full."

Veros Credit did place

insurance on the above referenced vehicle after it was verified by the

insurance company that that the insurance was cancelled due to

non-payment. After an investigation,

Veros Credit has confirmed that Ms. [redacted] currently has valid insurance on

the subject vehicle, and as a result, Veros Credit has canceled her force

placed insurance and updated her account balance to reflect the reimbursement

of fees placed on her account associated with the force placed insurance.

Increased Account Balance

After a review of Ms. [redacted]’s account, it

was discovered that there are multiple non-sufficient fund charges, late fees,

and partial payments which have increased her account balance throughout the

life of her account. Further, in March

2015 Ms. [redacted]’s vehicle was repossessed as a result of her account becoming more

than 60 days delinquent. The repossession fees that incurred were added to her

account balance.

Veros Credit often works with its customers

to provide payment alternatives specifically tailored to the customer's

individual needs, including extensions and deferments of payments. Ms. [redacted] was provided a due date change that

will be effective August 1, 2015 in order to assist during her financially

difficult times. Ms. [redacted] is strongly

encouraged to continue to communicate with this office should she find herself

in need of further assistance.

Credit Reporting

Under the Fair Credit

Reporting Act, Veros Credit has an obligation to report accurate information to

the credit bureau. As stated above, Ms.

[redacted]’s records indicate that she has made multiple late payments during the

life of her account with us. Accordingly,

it appears that Veros Credit’s credit bureau reporting was and is

accurate.

Repo Agency

Lastly, contrary to what Ms. [redacted] stated

in her complaint, Veros Credit is not affiliated with the business that stored

her repossessed vehicle.

Please do not hesitate to contact Veros

Credit if you have any questions or comments as to the foregoing at (714)

210-6913. Thank you for taking the time

to contact Veros Credit.

3. Company reports erroneous late payments to credit bureau.Desired Settlement: 1. Get trained on how to provide better customer service.

2. Correct billing errors within system and update credit report with credit bureaus as I was never late.

3. Stop price gouging and charging poor people excessive credit rates.

4. Refund overpayment - loan was paid off.

Response:

Dear Complaint Department:

Review: I had a car loan with Veros Credit LLC since September of 2012. After 2 years of payments and due to outrageous interest rates and unprofessional service I made the decision to pay off the loan amount in hopes it would alleviate the stress caused by this company. I paid the payoff amount in the very beginning of November 2014 and was told I would receive the title information in 60-90 days. After 90 days and no communication from Veros Credit LLC I received a check in the mail for $26.XX at the end of January. I assumed this meant my title information would be on its way. I decided to call on February 9th 2015 and was told over the phone that the title had been electronically released to the DMV on Dec. 8th 2014 and all I had to do was call them. I asked for a confirmation number or proof over the phone and was told that due to privacy issues I wasn't allowed. I called DMV and was told they have no record on file of the vehicle title being released. Frustrated, I called Veros Credit LLC again and spoke to a gentleman by the name of [redacted] who told me he had emailed and spoke to the title department and they were getting a release of title notarized that day and mailed out on February 10th and I would receive it in 3-5 days. Two weeks went by and nothing has came so I contacted Veros Credit LLC again and was told the same story about getting the title notarized and mailed and when I had asked why it wasn't done the last time I was transferred to someones voicemail. I have paid Veros Credit LLC over $15,000 and have received nothing in return from them despite repeated phone calls.Desired Settlement: I either need the title for the vehicle or the entire amount that I have spent on the vehicle with Veros Credit LLC and they can pick the vehicle up. If this is not the outcome I will be forced to take legal action.

Dear Dispute Department:

Review: I've been trying since Feb to change my due date to the 1st of each month since that's when I get paid. My original due date was okay until my boss changed the dates that I get paid. So I told [redacted] she gave me the forms and I filled them out sent them in made my payment since my account was up to date. Then my due date was never changed and I occurred late fees each month because they would not change my due date. On top of that their customer service personal is very rude. Giving attitude when no attitude needs to be given. Constantly calling asking when your going to pay when you just got off the phone with them saying that I do not get paid till the first. Then they threaten to take my vehicle away when I wasn't even behind on my payment. Then [redacted] withdrew from my account when I told her not to withdraw until after 6 because then she is going to make my account a negative. She made my bofa account negative and I occurred overdraft charges from bofa that they are refusing to pay me back. Then I spoke to another from Vero's credit who said that my vehicle is going to get repossessed because I haven't been making my payments on time when I have proof that I have sent in the paper work and my payments where in and they never changed the due date. They said that only part of my paper work was sent in and not the other half when I have proof that I sent in all of the paper work in each month and nothing was done. Then yesterday I got a call stating that my due date was late and yet the guy who I spoke to on the 15th of August said he was going to change my due date. The girl on the phone was so rude not letting me finish my sentence giving me attitude. If she worked for the company I worked for she would be fired in a heart beat. Her name was [redacted] but she would not give me the first initial of her last name.Desired Settlement: I would like the extra fees that I paid each month because of their mistake, because of their poor customer service refunded to me by check or back on my credit card . I would like the NSF Fees refunded to me that I occurred from bofa because of their mistake and I would like a written apology from them. I've never been treated so horrible by a company before its unbelievable. This is the worst experience with a credit company That I have ever received. I've never been talked down like they way they did. They don't care about their customers there all they care about is that they are right and thats all that matters.

Review: Their customer service is rude. They called us each month on the day the payment was due and numerous times a day if late, on most occasions hanging up on my wife who was also on car loan. After moving to WA., we made numerous attempts to get a copy of the title faxed to Licensed Dealer to get the car registered in WA. Finally, we refinanced the car locally, Veros received the payoff March 18, 2015. On March 29, we subsequently received a copy of the paid off note showing we over-paid. On numerous occassions, we have since contacted them to find out about the refund and get many answers/stories...its was mailed, need to wait 60 days, was mailed May 28th. Well, today is the 22nd of June, 97 days since the payoff, still waiting for our refund!Desired Settlement: Refund of overpayment with interest

Review: were all nice while taking the money. As I was about to leave [redacted] walked me to the car I had just purchased and told me to tell the bank (Veros Credit) when they called to tell them that I gave Freedom Auto Group 1500 instead of 1000, I didn't think too much of it I just said ok and I drove off in the car. The very same day I got the car I started having problems the front right tire was already low, and as I drove on the highway the car shook as if the tires were uneven. The left turn signal lamp was also out and the car was making a really loud ticking noise when I started the car. I took the car back to them on May, 4th I took the car back and complained about the tires and the lamp and the ticking noise of course they did not fix everything they only gave me different tires and they were 2 different sets of tires. I left because they were about to close. I took the car back on May, 9th because my check engine light was on and the car still made the noise and the turn signal lamp was still out. They told me the reason the check engine light was on was because of the gas cap. They did not want to change the turn signal lamp and I had to almost argue them down until they decided to Ali told me they had another dodge avenger and they would take the turn signal lamp out of that one and put it on the car I had. They never did fix the ticking noise [redacted] told me he would call me one day next week to come get it fixed because they only had the 1 guy fixing cars and I guess he was busy. They never called me to get that noise fixed and a few days later my other turn signal lamp went out so I assumed the lied to me and switched the 2 around I alr ew day had. Now fast forward to May, 15th they lady at (Veros Credit) is calling me to verify my credit she said "I see here you gave them 1500 is that correct" me thinking to myself no I really didn't but I just said yea. She asked for paperwork and check stubs and me being off on that Friday I was unable to produce all that paperwork she was asking for but I tried my best to, she asked for my bosses number and to verify my employer I gave it to her. I guess she was going back and forth with the dealership because a little after I got off the phone with her [redacted] called telling me if I didn't produce those papers they weren't going to be able to get the deal done I was scared thinking I wasn't going to have a car anymore I produce those papers to the best of my ability and because of what he told me I had to have someone create me a check stub to hold me over until I could get the correct one from my job and I would return the next day to work but the bank would be closed. On Monday May 18th the Bank called me and Nereyda let me know that she had spoken with my Manger and she verified that I had been working at my job for 1 year and 10 months, but she let me know on my credit application they put I had been working on my job for 2 years and 10 months witch is not true at all I had never told them that and she started to get frustrated with me and I let her know mam I tried to get you all the information I could on such short notice, so now she knows there is lying going on. She says let me call the dealership I'll call you right back. I said ok.Desired Settlement: I want all my money back Freedom Auto Group would not tell me how or where my money is they only implied they owed this bank my money for no apparent reason because I HAVE NO CAR

Veros credit llc was the financial institution that financed my car loan, which for the past almost 2 years I had no problem with them nor did they have any issue with me making my payment. My car was stolen on 4/7/14 and when my car was found Veros went to the tow yard and picked it up before my Geico claims adjuster could but in the meantime I had one mthly pymt that was coming due which my claim adj informed me not to pay because the car looked to be a total loss and he just needed to complete some paperwork. By 5/6/14 my insurance had totally paid the car off and I believed that everything was fine but come to find out that Veros reported a repo to my crdt before Geico had submitted the pay out this is an unlawful repo submission by the institution in which I tried to contact them directly about and every agent states they cant handle this situation and I finally spoke to someone who stated only a rep by the name of Monica handles this type of situation which I left numerous messages for with no response.Desired Settlement: I would like for this company to remove the repo from my credit because it is now effecting my credit severely and it was improper. I'm also saddened by the lack of customer service because when ever I called in to make my payments in the past it wasn't an issue for anyone to help me but now that the company is paid by Geico they wont have anything to do with me.

Review: I contacted Vero's Credit to alert them of a job change and due to the Job change I would have to make a late payment. My regular pay date is the 20. They okayed me paying the 25 due to my pay dates at my previous job ( in nursing field we get paid the 10 and the 25). Anyhow I got a job right away seeming I have a family and obligations at home but would not start until May 20. The new job I am at however does not pay the 10 and the 25( thank god) but every other Wednesday. I would not get my first check until the 11th. Now mind you I did call them about 2 weeks before my payment was due and they talked to me like I am the sum of the earth. They belittle me on the telephone, they have horrible customer service. Had I knew they were like this I would have never signed the contract. I am behind one pay date and they refuse to help me out. This is ridiculous. I don't understand how people can be so rude and have no understandingDesired Settlement: If I can just make my payment on June 11th and continue to make my payments on the 20th as my contract states.

Review: This company is doing things totally unethical. My vehicle was picked up with all of my belongings in it including my medication. I am disabled and had just been released from the hospital the night before they came to take the car. No one has had any information for me as to obtaining the vehicle again. When I call I am hung up on. I was even told they will not reinstate my loan I need to pay off the vehicle to get the car. I only received one call from the company 30mins before they picked up the car which was on private property! The lady Claudia stated that if I would have answered my phone I'd still have my car! But refused to stop the tow truck so I could at least obtain my medication and items. I have since been hospitalized and totally inconvenienced. My young daughters car seat is in the car as well as my identification and over $500.00. They sent it to a lot where they are requesting me to pay to obtain my items.Desired Settlement: I feel the company needs to give me my down payment or give me the vehicle back. I have tried to explain to the company I was in the hospital due to my disability, for all that I have had to endure in this time without a vehicle!

Veros Credit offers many options to assist its

customers through financial hardships, including extensions, temporary payment

reductions and due date changes.

Unfortunately, Veros Credit was unable to reach Ms. [redacted], and

therefore could not offer any of these options.

California law permits motor vehicle lien

holders to deny reinstatement of accounts for repossessed vehicles for several

reasons, including the concealment of the vehicle. After Ms. [redacted] defaulted

on her contract by failing to make her payments, and failing to maintain

insurance on the vehicle, it is believed that Ms. [redacted] concealed her vehicle

in order to avoid repossession.

A Notice of Intention to Dispose of Motor

to Ms. [redacted] at the address she provided. Ms. [redacted] can reach me directly

Review: I completed a Voluntary Repo with Veros Credit in November 2012. I was in contact the Veros the enitre time of the process due to Financial Difficulties. Veros Credit did sale the vehicle without any further issue during a Car Auction the following year. Veros Credit then reported a status of SNCL my [redacted] and [redacted] Credit Report which means "Skip Cannot Locate" I have spoken to Veros on several different occasions asking them why did they list this status on my credit report and I received the statement that I was misinformed that is not what that the acronym means, and I was also told that they were not able to locate me which was untrue. My Cellphone number has been the same since 2008. I have spoken with Veros Credit on numerous of occasions and this Credit Statement is completely untrue.Desired Settlement: I would lke Veros to remove the SNCL Status that they have listed on my credit report.

Dear Complaint Department:

Review: I have had an auto loan with Veros Credit for a little over a year I have never missed a payment or been late on my payments, and I have never shorted my payments. I get harassed every month with multiple calls from their employees about my payments which like I said before have never missed or been late on. Recently I acquired auto insurance for the vehicle and sent my declaration page to Veros I had been in contact with them for 2 months about the payment being lowered because of the insurance being added I was told by several employees that my payment was 430.25 instead of the 484.25. I paid the 430.25 as I was told by the company and then I was told that I had shorted my payments and owed the company money. They are extremely rude when it was a mistake made on their end not mine. I was paying what I was told to pay by the company. I told them I would pay even though they were wrong but I wasn't able to at the moment and they gave me a date in which it needed to be paid. I told them to stop calling me that I would pay it when it was due and that they need to stop harassing me when it was their own mistake. They continue to call me up to 3 times a day with different numbers harassing me about the payment. They continuously keep changing the amount they say I owe and harassing me.Desired Settlement: I would like the fees waived that they are saying I owe them by saying I shorted my payments when I never did I paid what the companies employees told me to pay. I would also like for the company to stop harassing me about payments when I have always made my payments on time.

Dear Complaints Department:

Review: I know I have been late on payments for about 3 months now. Sometime just being 10 days late. This company charges $22.49 on top of my $449.84 payment which you would think it equals $472.33 right? For being late it states that there is a a late fee. which I understand and have no issue with. My problem is that in the statements the late fee of $22.49 + Car Payment of $449.84 comes out to be $524.77 which is $52.44 more that stated on the statement. I have looked back since I purchased the vehicle and I am owed more than $350 dollars in the WRONG WAY THEY ADD UP THEIR STATEMENTS. I have called in and advised them and all I get is laughs and remarks like "if you cannot afford our late fees then pay your car on time" Unfortunately I had some issues with a siblings Death, Custody Court, and having to move, thus why I am late and I will pay the late fee's but when is it OK to charge $52.44 more that the Car payment and late fees all together?Desired Settlement: I would like them to review the way their statements are and credit me for all the over billing they did.

Below is an outlined response to Ms. [redacted]’s complaint.Customer ServiceVeros Credit strives to provide excellent customer service to its customers and its representatives would never communicate with its' customers in a rude or inappropriate manner. Veros Credit appreciates Ms. [redacted]'s input and is looking into whether additional customer service training needs to be provided to our representative.Monthly Account BalanceMs. [redacted]'s payments are due on the 21st of every month. Pursuant to the vehicle retail installment contract signed by Ms. [redacted], Veros Credit does not charge a late fee until 10 days after each payment is due. On several occasions, Ms. [redacted] made partial payments which failed to bring her account current, causing her to incur late charges.Veros Credit often works with its customers to provide payment alternatives specifically tailored to the customer's individual needs, including extensions and deferments of payments. Veros Credit has attempted to work with Ms. [redacted] in order to assist in bringing her account current by providing her with a payment extension and on a separate occasion waiving a late fee. A due date change could possibly benefit Ms. [redacted] and she is encouraged to contact our office to discuss her options.Further, the additional amount that is being added to Ms. [redacted]’s account, aside from the frequent late charges, is the interest. For Ms. [redacted]'s reference, I have attached her retail installment contract for her review which references the calculation of a finance charge that is included in her monthly balance. If requested, Veros Credit will provide Ms. [redacted] with her accounting details evidencing prior late fee charges, accrued interest, partial payments, and account balance. Ms. [redacted] is welcome to contact Veros Credit if she has any questions or comments as to the foregoing at (714) [redacted] Thank you for taking the time to contact Veros Credit.Sincerely,Veros Credit, LLC

Review: About a month ago, I went to Veros Credit, LLC to inform the manager that an account had been opened using my social security. I went there in an effort to show them proof that I am a victim of identity theft. I was treated very rudely by the staff, and they refused to assist me. In fact, the receptionist told me that nowadays "people use other people's social security numbers" as if it was not a big deal. I was shocked at their lack of professionalism. They did not seem to care at all that one of their borrowers was able to get a loan with them by committing fraud. More than two weeks ago, I wrote a letter to Veros Credit, LLC requesting that they send me copies of documents related to transactions or accounts created using my personal information. I sent Veros Credit a copy of the Police Report I filed with the Garden Grove Police Department and a copy of the judgment enforced by the court against the person for previous identity theft. I have not received any calls or letters regarding this request. Veros Credit, LLC seems to have no intention to cooperate or follow the law.Desired Settlement: I want copies of documents related to transactions or accounts created using my personal information (including but not limited to all paper records, records of telephone applications or authorizations, or records of electronic applications).

Mr. [redacted]' request to restrict Veros Credit from contacting third party references has been granted. Review: I recently purchased a vehicle and Vero's credit is the lien holder on my vehicle. I purchased car insurance before I left for safety and law reason. I was told that the price of my vehicle was one thing and I am now finding out that it's not as I was told. They said my car payment doesn't change after I purchased my own insurance. My total loan doesn't match what the total should be there is about $10,000 in the air without explanation. I am feeling that they have stolen from me. They have lied to me. And they are not in anyway honoring what I was told.Desired Settlement: I want the loan to reflect what I was told it would be. I want them to rewrite the agreement to reflect me paying $430.00 instead of $459.00. My loan was for $18800.00 and that's all I should have to pay nothing more.

Response:

Ms. [redacted] entered in a contract which states that payments are $459.00

per month. This contract also requires that the vehicle be covered by an

insurance policy. A copy of her contract is enclosed for your convenience.

The sum of the amount

financed, which is $18,093.70, includes an insurance premium of $649 for three

months of optional insurance. This additional $649 resulted in an increase in

her payment of $16.49 per month, which was amortized over the duration of her

contract. Ms. [redacted] was not required to purchase this insurance, but elected

to do so rather than purchase her own. Because three months has passed the

premium for the policy she purchased was fully earned.

If Ms. [redacted] had

purchased her own insurance during that time and can show qualifying coverage,

she may be entitled to a pro-rata refund. However, she will need to provide

documentation of the same to Veros Credit.

Ms. [redacted] can reach me directly at ###-###-####

if she has any other questions regarding her account. I look forward to working

with her. Thank you for your consideration of the information above. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you

have any questions or comments as to the foregoing.

Sincerely,

[redacted]
