My husband & I reserved a room for April 5-with the *** *** ***, aka Dixie Country Inn days agoI repeatedly asked to speak to the manager, *** when calling to ask why the price they quoted was $a night, apposed to online through *** was around a nightI was told he'd return my call, but after several calls to the motel, he never did as I was told he was busy with renovations This morning I called the motel again to cancel our reservation as we thought with no customer service we should find another place to staySeemed like too much of a hassleWhen I talked with the receptionist, she said she'd cancel the reservationSaid it was in the system, then hung upI called back & asked her to give me a confirmation # or something so I knew they'd cancelled itShe said it was already in the system again & that the manager *** had already cancelled our reservation last week because I'd told them I might cancel & book online for a cheaper
