This is without a doubt a warranty problem and a simple work order and request to the manufacturer would have repaired this as well as any resulting damage [redacted] The problem with the lighting of the water heaterAs the customer service manager here at Vellner Leisure Products, I was happy to read in your letter that you had many of the staff trying and working hard to rectify the non-existing problem with the water heaterWe happily provide a comprehensive detailed showing of all of the features of the customers new RV, including the water heater, and the customer signed off to the affect that they were comfortable with the operation of the unitIf the heater latch was not on, we had no way of knowing over the phone some km from usThere is no shortage of help, consulting the owner's manual can provide a great deal of help troubleshooting, as well as providing help lines to talk to the people that built the heater to aidThe unit is located in a center with several RV dealersIf a warranty problem occurs for an appliance it can be dealt with at almost any RV dealer and again there are several nearbySorry we were looking deeper into the problem as to what was being explained to us over the phone and, I guess we all thought you remembered how to turn it onSo my point here is many were trying to help, I'm sorry if we were all unsuccessfulThat was unfortunate The [redacted] carryout has been found to be in good working order by the manufacturer, the product has no defectsWe are able to deal with warranty or defective products and return said items and reimburse customers when the problem arisesWith the findings when tested to be positive by the manufacturer, there is no recourse under warranty to takeThe fact that the product you bought is not totally compatible with an existing piece of equipment is in no way a warranty issueVellner Leisure Products throughout this entire ordeal has gone to no small expense in man power and dollars in research and addition of wiring to help with the use of the [redacted] at no charge to the customerTo allow you to return a used [redacted] carryout that has been shipped around the country, you would be asking Vellner Leisure Products to resell a used unit to a different customer because you did not do any research as to whether the product would even work with your existing equipmentAnd your disappointment has somehow become the problem of Vellner Leisure Products After a full review of your concerns I feel we have gone above and beyond to deal with this matter

The problem with the lighting of the water heater.
