n motel policy, after a guest checks into a room, if the guest feels that the room is not to his/her liking and none of its facilitates were used, then a full refund is providedHowever, during the guest's stay, our manager tried to be accommodatingWe apologize that the stay was unpleasant; however the guest had more options than being forced to stay in the room due to a refund disputeIf a guest does not wish to stay in a room, we allow a room change in order to better accommodate the guestAccording to our manager, he offered to change rooms yet the guest declinedAlso, the guest could have checked out thereby ensuring the refund be given on a later dateHoweverBecause the guest decided to stay the whole night, we cannot issue a refund, since in the end our motel still provided shelter for the guest.Considering the room condition, we do realize our building is fairly old however this does not mean we do not maintain our rooms, nor does it can we allow illegal activities to happen in our roomsWe do not condone any explicit activity that may include drug dealing or hookers as the guest seem to putThis information, posted by the guest, is untrue: and can be damaging to our businessAdditionally, in every single room we try our hardest to keep it clean and its features new, such as the carpeting and the heater/air conditioner The matter of the temperature: being too cold was caused by our motel rooms being situated outsideTherefore we apologize that the room was cold when you entered,heating, even providing an extra heater for the guest

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The resolution that they claim was offered was notThe manager in this case simply did not offer us a different room or any other resolutionAs a matter of fact, he told us that because we had already entered the room, even though we had not used any of the facilities, a refund was out of the questionNot only did he not try to accommodate us, he was snotty and un-professional to put it as nicely as I possibly canI would have checked out and waited for a refund, however, I simply couldn't afford it since I had already paid the money to stay at this nasty placeAnd it isn't just a matter of the facility being old, it simply is not maintained to a standard of something that should be offered to reasonable people publiclyThese guys are liars and cheatsI'm not sure if this manager is instructed by the owner's to be like this or he is just this wayBut, either way he is a liar Sincerely, [redacted]

I'm not sure if this manager is instructed by the owner's to be like this or he is just this way. But, either way he is a liar.
