Review: I took my vehicle to Valley Radiator for repairs. One repair was for an oil leak, the next was a rattle vibration in the drivers side and lastly for rear brake issue (brakes were stuck). They had the car for 7 days and when I got the car back the oil was still leaking, there was still the same rattle and the brakes were still stuck. The invoice says they replaced the oil pan gasket, replaced the springs in the rear drum part of the disc brakes (this controls the E brake cable). I took it back a second time. I was told that there is a leak in the timing chain cover (gasket). I had that work done and they had the car for another 7 days. I was told that the banging was coming from a motor mount. I had the mount replaced. I got the car back and it was now making more noise and now with a loud vibration and oil was still leaking. I looked under the car and found that the oil pan gasket was still leaking and the motor was hitting off of the cross member. I had to remove the cross member myself and bend it back into place. That fixed the loud vibration but not the rattle that I paid to have repaired. The rear brakes were still stuck as well.
I took the car back a third time and was told that they fixed the oil pan leak (again) and that there I a possible leak in the front of the motor that I would again have to pay for. I refused and asked to have my car locked with the keys inside and I will pick it up after work. I picked up the car and was unlocked at 8PM with no keys inside. I had my spare set to drive home.
I took the vehicle to another mechanic and they replaced the rear caliper and that fixed the stuck brake issue. The stabilizer bar is the reason for the drivers side rattle/vibration. (I have not had this repaired yet) And the oil is leaking from the front of the motor (possible front seal) (I have not had this repaired yet)Desired Settlement: I have paid close to $900 for the repairs that have not been completed to my satisfaction to fix an oil leak and fix the rattle/vibration. I would like a refund so that I can take the vehicle elsewhere to repair it.
