Vacation Communications Group Reviews (4)

A representative from Vacation Communications Group contacted and informed me that he could sell my timeshare. The representative told me that the timeshare would sell and that I just had to pay an upfront onetime fee of $1,198.00. I obliged the representative and paid this fee March 13, 2013 with the understanding that my timeshare would sell. They even indicated they had a buyer, however I have not seen a return on my investment with Vacation Communications Group to date. I was operating under the assumption that this was a legitimate company offering to help me sell my timeshare. Had I known that the promises were empty then I never would have agreed to pay for their services in the first place. I am seeking a full refund and any help regarding this matter is greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you.Desired SettlementI am seeking a full refund in the amount of $1,198.00.

This company stated they had a buyer for our timeshare, but we had to pay $1898.00 in settlement fees. We paid by CC, but there was never a buyer. We received a call from Vacation Communications Group stating that they had a buyer for our timeshare but that we needed to pay $1898.00 in settlement costs. We did so by CC but then realized that what they really wanted to do was to sell our timeshare..there was never a buyer already in place. So we contacted them for a refund and they stated that they would give us a portion back but not the entire amount. We have contacted them multiple times and they have not returned calls and we never received any monies back.Desired SettlementWe would like them to refund the amount that we paid to them, $1898.00 due to their false claims.

Complaint: Called me asking to sell my timeshare, paid them fee. Said they had buyer. Have not head from them sinceEarly March 2013 received phone call from [redacted] of VCG wanting to sell my timeshare. Said there would be a sales fee of $2200. He asked about asking price and specifics of property. On March 18 I received an e-mail saying they had a guaranteed buyer. They Sent me a sales agreement form to sign and I faxed it to them on March 19, 2013 and spoke with a Martin Sawyer and paid VCG $2200 by credit card on March 19. I received an e-mail from [redacted] On March 20 with attached documents to sign--payment confirmation and verification of timeshare info. Early April received a call saying they had a buyer and the buyer had offered a little less than I wanted, but I accepted the offer. A J Rodriquez called few days later saying the buyers would be signing the papers on the timeshare sale. Another call about one spouse was not available to sign papers. And from then on I heard nothing from them. I tried to call and email but they phone was disconnected and the email came back as unable to deliver. (I have copies of letter, forms and e-mails I received from VCG.)It was a scam.Desired SettlementI want my $2200 back.

I paid them to sell my timeshare, which they promised to do. They never did anything for me.They called me up offering to sell my timeshare and even going as far as saying they had a buyer. I paid them to sell my timeshare. I received the contract after I paid them and it stated I had paid for advertisement only, not a sale/ rental. Please see link for FTC rulings on this fraudulent company: http://www.ftc.gov/os/caselist/1323020/index.shtm.#sthash.ZLWW98hZ.dpufDesired SettlementFull refund of my money
