Review: This is an absolute horror show of a business. Unfortunately the broker I was working with left and my loan was assigned to Joe T[redacted]. From day one he did not respond to emails. Over the course of several weeks I had gotten two emails from him and had sent three times that much. I had reached out to the VP about this issue and she told me she would work on it but this still did not speed up communication. Joe was cc'd on all of the emails but it did not motivate him to write back at all. I was 3/4 of the way through the mortgage and they couldn't bring it together to get it closed. It seemed that since this was not the most lucrative deal on the plate, it did not matter whether it closed or not to the staff. I really urge anyone looking for a mortgage to do your research and avoid these guys at all costs. It is a big waste of time and money to get this far in a loan and then have them fall off the face of the planet.Desired Settlement: I would like my hud consultant and appraisal fees returned since there was no customer service and I was not able to continue with this company. I lost the money on those two items now that I am going with someone else

One of the agents lost all of our documents in which we had to resubmit and is constantly calling to collect more documents but misplaces everything. Moreover, he's absent-minded, says one thing and later on in the process goes back on his word.NOT A PROFESSIONAL AND WHAT A WAY TO WASTE PEOPLE'S TIME .

I was contacted by US Mortgage Corp. and they were very encouraging and responsive and I was able to get all the paperwork for refinancing to with in one week. Then the appraiser came-which cost me $475. All papers were sign in 5/** pending the appraisal report. It has now been one month and I have never heard back from them. The again who worked with me never answers the phone. Someone else takes my name and phone number and says my agent's door is closed but he will have him call me back. On 3 occasions this has not happened. No response and no idea of what the appraiser appraised my home for. Bad business!

Closed this week on refinancing with US Mortgage Corp. The process was simple and my loan originator Kenra H[redacted] explained everything in detail. There was no hidden charges or inflated costs. No fast talking or trying to pull any complicated jargon. My loan processor Tish W[redacted] was extremely helpful and very organized. Both ladies were easily accessible and prompt to return calls and correspondence.

Very upfront company and I was treated very respectfully. Very quick to close and the entire process was very quick from the date I applied. Would rate them excellent and trustworthy . Eager to meet my goals.

Review: When I was contacted by US Mortgage I was told that the appraisal for my refinance would be at no charge to me by phone and in an email. I had other possible refinance companies available but they did not offer the free appraisal, so I decided to go with US Mortgage. The appraisal was done and I did not have to pay anything up front but when I got the GFE the $400 appraisal fee was on there. I contacted the [redacted] I was working with and he assured me that it just had to be on there for now but I would not be paying it on the final HUD. I crossed it off on the GFE and signed it. Then when the final HUD-1 came in the day of closing the $400 appraisal fee was still on there. I again contacted my [redacted] and he told me that they would just refund the money to me after closing. It has now been 4 months since closing and after multiple attemptes thorugh email and phone calls I have yet to see the $400. Now not only did I pay for the appraisal but I am now paying intrest over 30 years on it. If I knew that I was going to end up paying for it, I would have went with a different company or just refinanced through the bank that already had the loan. I have emails and all documents that will show that this was promised to me.Desired Settlement: I would just like the $400 check that I was promised multiple times.
