Will never go there again. Blood work done two weeks ago. Had an MD appt. today to go over results. Lab work was never faxed over. It's not easy to get an 87 year old out for appointments and it was a waste of time. Still waiting on hold on the phone to speak to someone. Awful service.

I went to a quest diagnostic location as my doctors office could not do one of my test at their location anymoreIn past my insurance paid 90% of the tests and with the discount my out of pocket costs would be less then Apparently quest diagnostic person not only requested approve from insurance but typed wrong codes for all testsmy insurance has denied the bill as they want quest to correct the mistakes quest does not answer phone callsi just got a bill for for annual blo0d test

I have been paying Quest Diagnostics on a monthly basis for a biopsy in the amount of $327.76; I paid $in May 2016, $in June Waiting for the last invoice of $to come in, I received same on July 29th, 2016, the invoice was dated July 18, On Monday, August 1, 2016, I receive a collections notice from [redacted] dated July 28, in the amount of $ Is this against the law to put a payment plan into collections before the receipt of the invoice?

I went on 11/24/for lab work at the request of my doctor I was going for my company/insurance provided physical exam (with lab work included free of charge to me.) It is a service provided annually by my company in conjunction with my insurance agency, ***I go every year and every year, Quest screws it up and puts in codes that are not routine in nature, causing my to get big bills for this service that is supposed to be free to me annuallyEach year, I spend hours, weeks, months trying to get it correctedI do not owe this billIt is a free wellness screening provided by my company This year, my doctor went to great lengths to hand write each code to make sure they were properly inputted by Quest as routine codes, not diagnostic They still did it wrong and want my to pay them $for my free wellness screening I refuse to pay it since I don't ow it I have written and called them several times, asking them to provide me with the codes they used so I can con

I am writing in regards to Invoice # [redacted] which is billing our family $for blood tests allegedly completed on February 10, tests were supposedly completed on that date, and of the are covered by our insurance ( [redacted] This compliant is directed towards the that are not Quest has been contacted on March 11, April 29, July 15, July 22, 2016, and on other dates regarding this bill Requests for supervisory involvement have been denied Requests for a company email contact to address the specifics of this case have also been denied There are concerns that these tests were never requested by our physician, and that Quest Diagnostics is billing us without having any authority to do so Quests only accepts telephone calls during 'bankers' hours, and their customer service wait time typically exceeds minutes This is terribly inconvenient Quest has been contacted on March 11, April 29, July 15, July 22, 2016, and on other dates regarding this bi

I am having a very hard to with quest diagnostics and the service they have been providingI did a routine blood draw and I am being charged after my insurance paid them more than $dollarsI was at the quest office in Chicago, Il and informed them that their should not be a bill because I called [redacted] times to make sure my blood level was coveredThe staff informed me that it would be fine and they would contact the general doctor and prescribing psychiatrist if there were any problemsAgain the staff said that the charges would be covered, including the lipid panelThey said they would also call the doctor which did not happenI have had several blood draws and never had to pay a co-payI am furious because my general doctor called quest to give them the information they needed so quest could get paid the additional $dollarsI know this happened because my father is my general doctor and the secretary for his office-contacted questQuest informed her that

I had my son's blood draw at a local Quest Diagnostic lab in FebI paid cash for the servicesWhen the bill was itemized, it said the CBC price was unavailableWhen I went home, I called Quest Diagnostics and asked if I was going to receive an additional bill for a lab test that is routinely draw numerous times a dayShe said if I paid cash for everything then, I should not receive another billTwo months later, I received a bill for the CBCI called Quest Diagnostics again and was told I owed this moneyWhen I asked them how it was possible that a lab could not have the price of a test that is drawn many, many times a day, they said it was a problem with the individual labHowever, I was told I still owed the moneyIn addition to this, I was charged $for a ferritin levelAny online labwork company charges less than half that amount for a cash paying patient I explained that Quest Diagnostics has received numerous negative comments on the Revdex.com and Consumer Affai

On Dec 8th I was sent to Quest by my physician for an MRIWe told them at that time in person that we were private pay, and paid for the services before they were renderedLast week I received an invoice for $10, and on the invoice it clearly states "Payment was denied by [redacted] of TEXAS (??) indicating patient was not covered at time of service." No kidding? We TOLD them we were private pay!! And whose insurance, exactly, did they try to file with?! These crooks are trying every method out there to get anyone's money they canSTAY AWAY from these quacksI will NEVER have another test done at Quest, everThey'll never get that measly $from me, eitherI don't pay thieves

I have received a collection bill from Quest Diagnostics, for a Date of Service of Aug 11, I then called my insurance company to see why they didn't pay the bill, and they informed me Quest never sent an invoice on that dateI tried calling Quest to see why they never sent the bill as they usually do, they did not provide an answer, and said the only thing left to do is for me to pay it out of pocket because it's too late to bill them and then ask my insurance to reimburse meThat didn't sound right to me, So I called my insurance back, and explained to them what they said, they said no, they can still send the bill, but it may be denied because it's been too longThey said if they did in fact send the bill on Aug 11, 2014, then Quest would have to provide proof that they submitted it on that dateTo my understanding, Quest failed to bill my insurance for payment, and now they want me to pay for it!

After using Quest Lab in [redacted] , Caduring which at ALL times they take pictures of my issurance cards, I keep getting a bill showing only primary insurance was billed After complaining to local lab I'm told they have nothing to do with billing and I'm told to call an number which puts you on hold for ins I have gone online and started an account to add secondary insurance which I cant understand why since like I said they always photo my cards each timeI checked account weeks later and secondary insurance again not listedI re-entered again My primary insis [redacted] and secondary [redacted] It's my understanding that patients should not have to bill medicareIt's suppose to be done by medical office My main complaint is why am I having to do Quest Labs work? I give them my cards and they should bill all insurances I have received a 3rd notice now It says on bottom if youre using [redacted] to submit info have done that twice now and why do they photo

I went to my gynecologist because I had an ovarian cyst that rupturedWe tried to get to the source of the problem, and I asked for a hormone testQuest Diagnostics ended up testing for a general health panel ($243), a lipid panel ($53), a bilirubin direct ($20), Vitamin D ($241), Vitamin B($115), Folate ($127), GGT ($29), Fructosamine ($60), FSH ($135), LH ($135), Hemoglobin ($74), Iron ($26), LD ($24), Phosphorus ($19), Prolactin ($166), T($150), and Uric Acid ($18)The vast majority of those tests have NOTHING to do with hormone levelsThe total? $With my insurance, I "only" had to pay $194, which is still no small numberI also once had a doctor send basic, routine STD screenings to Quest Diagnostics and came back with a $billThey over test and overpriceIt is insane how much this all costs, and it's a scamIf you don't pay the bill within a month, they also start calling and leaving voicemails several times a weekI don't care what illness I have, next time I will refuse tests under all circumstances because it is outrageous and abusive towards sick people — and even people who are in good health!

I visited doctor [redacted] at [redacted] in September. I was told on the phone and at point of sale that the cost of my appointment would be $600. During my appointment I had blood drawn and was not told it would cost additional or would be out of insurance, I also do not believe I authorized any charge or signed anything approving Quest Diagnostics to charge me in addition to my appointment with [redacted]  However, I just received a bill from Quest Diagnostics for $1,077.63. I was never presented with the cost and do not believe I signed anything, so this bill was a major surprise. I called [redacted] office and was told it should be covered by my insurance and that quest should not be billing me. ( [redacted] office also has my insurance information). However, Quest has made it incredibly difficult to try and speak to a human about this matter and has limited contact information. While I am aware that Quest performed a service, I believe

On January 5, I had a series of blood and urine tests at a Quest Diagnostics Washington, D.Claboratory location When I arrived the office, they asked for my insurance information My insurance coverage is with GEHA (for federal employees only) and I have a Quest card issued from GEHA GEHA pays for 100% of all Quest charges, at rates that are negotiated with GEHA The desk clerk took my card and obtained the necessary information from it On January 18, I received an invoice for nearly $1,stating that Quest could not submit the required information to my insurance company because they did not have it I was indeed taken aback, obviously, because they had that information In addition , the same thing happened last June when I had testing at that Quest laboratory location I received a bill for the full amount of the test costs, containing the same statement that Quest didn't have insurance information that I provided them with at the time the tests were administered and hence could not submit to insurance I was on the phone with them several times That time it took months for them to stop billing me, even though they knew GEHA would be payingWhen I filled out a complaint on their website, I got a response from a Ms [redacted] e, asking that I call her to discuss When I called, she then told me they would put the bill on hold for days, and if they didn't receive payment from GEHA by then, they have to bill me again because that is the maximum 'hold' possible What was she talking about? They bill only every days, so there is no 'hold' in the first place I told MsL [redacted] that I did not want to see another bill from Quest because they would be paid by GEHA and they knew that already Ms [redacted] e even asked me if I gave the local lab my insurance information, as that would have been my fault; then she inquired if the person at the desk wrote down the information from the card I handed her? Outrageous Does anyone think for a minute that this lab would administer $1,worth of tests without knowing insurance was available and taking down the information from the insurance card? Fortunately, we have insurance and Quest will be reimbursed probably about $for these tests Those who don’t have the insurance will likely have to pay the $1,before the first syringe is inserted to draw bloodStill not quite having figured things out, I asked Ms [redacted] e whom to call at the test location to find out what went wrong Ms [redacted] e then told me to talk to the manager at the lab When I spoke to the lab, the responder stated there was no manager at the office and he provided me with a number in Virginia to call about complaints along with that person's name Then I realized nothing went wrong at the laboratory location Those employees have nothing to do with billing, as Ms [redacted] e had indeed indicated I had asked Ms [redacted] e to let me speak with her supervisor and she said that person would call when she freed up I have received no call and it has been more than hoursAt this point, it occurs to me, based on the complaints set forth on this Revdex.com site, that Quest Diagnostics' patient billing practices need to be cleaned up and that this company will not do so voluntarily unless required by some governmental authority or pursuant to enforcement by insurance companies of their agreements with Quest I am proceeding to see that this occurs and feel, as a lawyer, that I am particularly qualified to do so, as I can pretty much determine one or more reasons why their billing procedures are set up to do this One experience like this (last June) was enough; twice is way over the limit but I'm thankful that it happened a second time so that I can do my part in putting a stop to it, for good

I have an issue with Quest Diagnostics honesty policiesI went to their lab, by my own mistake, for routine (not an emergency in any way) blood workHowever the personel at Quest failed to point out to me that I was at the wrong labTherefore something that would have cost me $in my network, now costs me $
I specifically asked about my insurance and was reassured "oh honey we take all insurance." Well they failed to point out to me at the top of my lab report said a different lab
I understand that I made a mistake by going to Quest instead of the lab listed on the top of my lab order, but through their training practices I feel I was misled
I called and tried to rectify the situation, however was not helped in anyway to lower this unnecessary bill
