We have had an outside vendor who is a certified mechanic perform our oil changes and division #safety inspections on all of our vehiclesThis vendor has been performing this service for us for yearsThis has never happened before.Advising a customer that they only have miles before an oil change is due, is not something we would state to any customer in that we change the oil on all vehicles once they arrive as part of our service and inspection inventory proceduresWe disclose all known prior conditions required by law.The customer had called us and had stated that they had driven miles when this happened and driving over the Grapevine all within a less than day period. We have performed all service and inspections required by law prior to the sale of this vehicleWe advised the customer to call *** corporate to see if they would cover this problem through the 3year/36,mile manufacturer warrantyWe have been in business for nearly years and have sold thousands of vehicles and have never had this type of complaintWe would be surprised if [redacted] Corporate refused to honor the warranty if they were notifiedUnfortunately, we as an independent dealership, can not make that call
