U S Government Grants

Review: I recived a phone call saying that I was picked to recive a $7000 dollar grant but in order to get that I need to pay an upfront fee of $290. That can only be cashed at a Walmart.Desired Settlement: Would like to know if this is for real?

Review: On Tuesday 9/3/2013 I received a phone call from (202) 697-7222 about a grant in the amount of $10,200 which is supposed to be from the US Government. I was told to call another number (202) 470-2473 and give them an authorization number EN202. When I called the number they asked me for $205 which is a one-time payment to the US Government for an unknown purpose. These people say they found my name through the disabled roles. It is not my understanding that the US Government would ever give a grant and request that you pay them.Desired Settlement: Find out who these people are and put out a scam notice if they are not legit.

Review: A man calling from two separate numbers claims to be calling and giving out US Government Grants and needed to verify my name and zip code. He said that since I have not been foreclosed on or claimed bankruptcy, the government is giving me a grant in the sum of $7800. I was also told I would not have to repay this money back to the Government. When he asked for my name I said you should know my name already. He kept saying this is just to verify. I just need your name and zip code. The first number is 18001113344 and then it clicks over and you get another number calling from 18002662278 and they want to verify information. They told me to call back the following day at 2:30 pm at the phone number 2024700802.Desired Settlement: Just want to put this out there so others are not scammed into losing there money or identity.

Review: This business continues to call my mother saying that she is approved for a government grant but to process the grant they want $205 "to feed the starving kids in Africa." They have called from multiple different phone numbers:*202-905-0702*202-777-4441*202-470-1411I do NOT appreciate these people messing with my DISABLED MOTHERS head or emotions.Desired Settlement: I want their company shut down!

Review: This company won't stop calling me They curse at me and repeat over and over they are with the US Federal Grant Program and I have been awarded money. I tell them to stop harassing me and they laugh and hand up.Desired Settlement: Make the scam numbers from this company stop.

Review: Same as the previous complaints a man called said I was approved for a grant of 8500.00 to be wired to my acc in 45 min just had to send them 231-00 to house the poor people or homeless thru western union and I think that it wouldnt be hard to locate these people there phone number is 2024077229 and the name james miller was used hes the one who asked for the money from me also 2026663431 is the number they called me from so why is it so hard to find out who is imitating the us government.Desired Settlement: I just think they should be arrested if they are not who they say they are and are not really giving away grants.

Review: I received a call from this company saying that they are from the United States Government Grant Department, andI was awarded a grant of $7000. I was then asked to send them a western union for $281 for identification purposes. This stuck me as odd, so, of course, I decided to check with the Revdex.com before doing anything. This revealed that there are several complaints with the same scam. I just want to caution everybody that receives this call. Please do not send them money and please do report them.Desired Settlement: I just want to alert the public to this scam.

Review: the company called me and said that my name was pulled to win a $7000 grant and that I could collect it through the bank or western union and that there was a one time processing fee of $280 and that if I received the grant I would get my $280 back with the $7000 but if I do not get the grant they would return my $280 and once I paid the money and did not get the grant they would not return my money. They are saying the are from the Federal Reserve Bank and my complaint is why would the government be doing that. Taking people money and not giving them their grant if they have won a grant or why are they not doing anything about these companies?Desired Settlement: I would like for my $290 that I spent trying to get the grant plus $200 for my pain and suffering.

Review: I was contacted that I had been one of 1700 in [redacted] to receive a grant for $8300 which wasn't required to be paid back and to use for whatever purposes I deemed as long as it wasn't for illegal activity. In order to receive this cashier's check (why not a US Treasury check?), all I had to do was to go to any grocery store and purchase a Green Dot Money Pack and load it with $199. At this point, the courier would be dispatched and arrive at my house within 30 minutes with the cashiers check. The questions I have, are why would I be eligible for a Grant that I didn't apply for to serve no realistic purpose that a Grant is meant for? Also, why would I have to pay the courier with one of these money packs?? This sounded like a scam so I contacted your organization and found numerous complaints of a similar nature. The phone number I was given is (202)436-9885, ext 116 and the point of contact was Ronny (or Ronnie) Cooper. Please investigate this organization and contact the proper authorities if this is indeed a scam.Desired Settlement: If it's a scam, lock these people down so they don't continue with it.

RODRIGUEZ RAMIREZ. TOLD ME THE PROCESSING FEE WOULD BE DONATED TO A CHARITY OF MY CHOICE. IF I SEND THE WESTERN UNION PROCESSING FEE OF $153.00 THE $9200.00 WOULD BE SENT TO MY FIFTH THIRD ACCOUNT WITHIN 20 MINS? CAN U TELL ME IF THIS GOVERNMENT AGENCY IS LEGIT?
