It was a pleasure to work with Magnum Windows & Glass. They are well organized, on time and professional. They provided (calculate and print) a competitive quote on site during their initial visit and they installed a high-quality glass product from a well-known glass manufacturer in Calgary.

I can recommend this company for their quality product, service and time management skills. Effective and efficient services is what distinguish companies from one another. This is what makes this company great to work with and that is why I will not hesitate to contact them again if I have any other glass or windows needs in the future .

Thank you very much for your effort.

Working with Magnum windows was quick, professional, competitively priced and finished product was great. Wouldn't work with anyone else!

This Company has been defrauding people for 4 years or more. They have been reported to the [redacted] several times, had their license pulled and then restored several times. They have been reported to the ** State Atty. office and the local [redacted] Police several times.
They will:
1) Quote you a price by phone with no walk through, by the number of rooms.
2) Arrive late for the pick-up, so that you have already made arrangements for your hotels or planes, which you will then lose money on or have to pay their (Top Priority) extra charges... they will quote you on the spot supposedly re calculated upon the sq feet it will take up in the truck.
3) They will delay delivery by several weeks and then charge your credit card for storage before agreeing to deliver the shipment.
4) IF they ever deliver, there will be on-the-spot charges for either elevator/floor usage or driveway length. If you refuse they will threaten to take the shipment back and charge your credit card for the return trip.
5) Dodge your calls, refuse to answer e-mails, and refuse receipt of certified mail letters.
As of today, we are waiting 2 years and 16 days for my ** year old Father's household goods and his artwork. They charged him a deposit of $850 (Credit Card) and then demanded a check of $11,342 on site at his home when they arrived for shipping from [redacted] to [redacted]. They cashed the check during their lunch break, before finishing the load up of the truck.
They have changed phones and addresses 8 times in those two years, refuse to answer e-mails from us, and now will not call us back when we find a working phone number. Our next step is to contact the [redacted] and the US Atty General.
We have been informed by other Victims that Top Priority routinely holds sales and auctions of goods they picked up but never delivered despite getting paid and contacted by the rightful owners
[redacted] for [redacted]
I want all of the shipment returned or My father's paintings and personal possessions returned plus the $11,342 extra they charged us over the original payment. OR I want the [redacted] and the [redacted] to become involved in recovery of this shipment and prosecution of the perpetrators.

Review: Overcharge, excessive damage to goods including blatant negligence with packing/transporting, holding goods hostage, failing to disclose use of 3rd party transporter, not responding to requests for arbitration, using 3rd party company to file insurance claim. Failing to return phone calls, certified mail requests.Desired Settlement: Monetary compensation for damaged goods, refund of paid amount for services rendered, and emotional distress

Review: I was quoted one price from this mover, however on the day of the move the for men said another price. Stating I used up more space then quoted. They purposely packed the truck losely so I would accumulate more space. When my husband directed them to use the open spaces left and to pack tighter they said they could not and this is how there company packed. I was quoted 1,700.00 dollars but in the end it ended up being 4,500.00 dollars instead. WE were contacted about a move date and also informed that this business has went out of business and our contract was transfered to another company and that we need to pay them immediately. We paid the rest of the 70% balance and had an intended move date of 2/**/2015 however once the balance was placed into the new companies chase account we have not heard from them. They currently still have our stuff a month after a payment was made. I was informed by a former employee of top priority moving that our contact person has just left for Israel and wouldn't be returning our call or to the states until after April **,2015. April **,2015 would make 2 months since we have them the payment and still have not received our stuff. We can not get any answers as to where our stuff is or even speak to a person. This other company that they transfered my contact to seems to be non existent I can not find any information on this company not even a phone number. All former employees of top priority moving are with other companies and will not speak of business pertaining to the old company.Desired Settlement: I would like them to deliver our stuff and we don't want to pay the extra months in storage fees or the 30% balance due. We have been I turmoil over our stuff. My husband and I both having things packed away that are priceless and have been worried sick over the thought that our stuff has been taking as well as the money invested in this move.

Review: In August **, 2014 we moved from New Jersey to Florida. We hired Top Priority Moving and Storage to do our move. After asking us what furniture we where moving, they gave us an estimate of $1,500.00 for the whole move. They agreed on picking up our furniture on Aug **, 2014 at 9:00 am. Our flight to Florida was schedule for Aug ** at 2:00 pm. They never show up in the morning, at this point we left a family relative to release to them our furniture. They got to our home at 7 pm at that point the drivers didn't want to load the truck, they call their office and they were told they had to do it then. Being upset by not wanting to do the move so late in the day, they were not handling the furniture with care and rushing to get done. After their truck was loaded, they called stating that instead of $1,500.00 My move will cost me $7,400.00. At this point I had already left NJ and had to vacate my apartment the next day, so I had no choice but to pay for the difference. When the movers arrived at my new location in Florida, one week later, we had 4 boxes missing, they broke our refrigerator to the point that it's useless. They also damage or broke, a Steve Silver buffet table, a brown leather sofa, a brown leather love seat, brown center table, white riding chairs, TV stand, some kitchens items. Lost some clothes and personal documents. The tidal cost of the damage is about $7,290.00. We tried contacting the moving company and they told us their claim was handle by a their party company and they gave us that web site so we could submit the claim. We submitted the claim and sent all supporting document, the claim was accepted and they gave us ant ETA of 30 to 60 day for the settlement. We didn't get any answer after the 60th day, so we called that third party company, they told us the claim was still being handle. A week later we get an email, from the moving claim company, saying

Dear Valued Customer,

We regret to inform you that we will no longer be handling/processing your claim on behalf of your moving provider. Our service agreement with your moving provider has been terminated. As a result we will not proceed with the processing of your claim and must transfer your claim back to your carrier who is the responsible party.

Although your claim may have been filed with us while our service agreement with your carrier was active, [redacted] is not an insurance company and was only hired by your carrier to determine the settlement amounts. They will be liable for per their Terms, Conditions and in conjunction with Federal Regulation.

Note: This notice does not mean your claim is denied but that it is handled directly by your carrier per their request and legal right as the responsible party for your claim.

All documents received with your claim may be transferred directly to the carrier upon their request.

Please contact your moving provider directly for further assistance or if you have any questions or concerns.

We apologize for the inconvenience and trust that your moving provider will resolve your claim promptly. "

At this point we don't know what else to do to have our right as consumer honor and have our damage furniture settled. We appreciate your help.Desired Settlement: We would like Top Priority Moving and Storage to pay for our damage furniture and to refund us for the over charges in our move.

Review: Top Priority Moving & Storage picked up my possessions on May ** and collected $1,000. It is now July **, and I still do not have my items. They are no longer answering phones or email. Our agreement was clear that the items were to be delivered to destination by June **. At this point, I am asking for a conversation with someone who knows where my things are. I am prepared to retrieve my items from their current location on my own, as it appears Top Priority is unwilling to fulfill the terms of our agreement and deliver the items to the destination.Desired Settlement: I just want my things back

Business

Response:

Delivery of customer's items was delayed however, the customer received his items as agreed. Please accept our apology.

Review: on June [redacted], I paid $500 for my moving scheduled for June [redacted] (between 8 and 10 am) in advance. After 8 hours of delay, the company told me (via phone) that they could not come that day, and instead would come the next day. I made it clear that I could not wait another 24 hours because of my international flight scheduled within the 24 hours. When I secured another movers and tried to cancel the transaction with Top Priority Moving and Storage, the representative refused to refund the money, as it was "nonrefundable." By that point, they were aware that I would not be in town and it was impossible to move my stuff, because of their own fault, they remained to refuse to refund. The moving eventually did not happen by the Top Priority, and I had to buy a new air ticket to Seoul, which cost me $1600. I request the refund of $500, as well as the reimbursement of $1600. Of course I am willing to provide all email documents, including the moving estimates, receipts for the original air ticket and the new ticket that I had to purchase.Desired Settlement: Refund of $500 moving fee (because the move was not conducted by this company as promised) Reimbursement of $1600 air fare (because the serious delay at the last minute made me miss the international flight and buy a new ticket)

Review: To make a long story short it's a SCAM. This place is a SCAM. I'm thoroughly convinced that this is not a real company. In my case they didn't show up at all. AT ALL. They didn't call on or at the confirmed date and time of arrival (6/** btwn. 12pm and 2pm) and then the next day when I finally reached a "representative" told me they wouldn't refund my deposit. The woman on the phone didn't have a logical explanation, or an apology, she just said "deposits are non-refundable." Eventually she just hung up on me when I began to demand a refund. On the day of the move I was left waiting with my stuff and a small child in the 90 degree heat, desperately calling them over and over. I had to get my bank involved, and I'm still waiting to see if they (Top Priority) refund me my $100. In the meantime I opened an investigation with my bank, but they say they're not sure what they can do. Top Priority claimed they would not collect, but did so the next day and haven't refunded my deposit ($100) as of yet. I feel I'm actually entitled to compensation from them for having to rearrange and pay to rent a whole other truck and take off work, paying two assistants, the following day. I am livid and hope that you can assist me.Desired Settlement: $1000 Cash refund for my deposit and other expenditures, as well as my suffering and that of my wife and child.

Business

Response:

Due to circumstances beyond our control we were unable to perform this customers move as promised. We apologized repeatedly for the inconvenience. Although the customer was entitled to a refund, they had a "chargeback" done and the bank directly refunded the $100.00. If customer proves that this amount was not credited back to their account we will be happy to refund $100.00

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Re: your e-mail. I did not see the previous one but I am not satisfied with the reimbursement of $100 from my bank. I had to retain a new company, take an extra day off of work, etc. and I endured a lot of inconvenience and discomfort due to that. I want an award from this company for intentionally scamming me and wasting my time. I would like to request respectfully that this complaint be reopened!

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Review: Had a contract with the company to move furniture and boxes from our house in CT to our place in Breezy Point. I took off work on Friday 6/**/13 to meet the movers and follow the truck to NY. The night before they called and confirmed ... although they did move the time back a couple of hours. On Friday the day of the move they did not show at the agreed time. I called them at least 20 times and each time they told me they would be there within the hour and then several times they said they were 20 minutes away. Never showed up at all. At 5:30 they stopped taking my calls. The owner ([redacted]) was not honest - nor were the sales reps. They took my deposit and I have not heard a word from them. They seem to be running some type of scam business. I had to rent a truck and move it myself. Lost two days from our move.Desired Settlement: People need to know that this business will not deliver as promised. Unfortunately now that I have done more research, I can see that they have done this to many people.

Business

Response:

We sincerely apologized to the customer however we were unable to provide moving services as agreed due to circumstances beyond our control. We tried to reschedule on different occasions but to no avail and thought it would be best for the customer to hire another company. I am sorry that she feels badly about the company but we have been in business and for over 20yrs and has never have a complaint with the Revdex.com until late May 2013. This was due to the fact that there were some internal issues which resulted in the temporary closure of the company which is now reopend under new management.

Review: They quoted us $4000 for the packing, transport and unpacking of our household. They then changed the cost on site the day of the move and charged us $11,320, demanded up front payment, and packed us up. That was June of 2013, and then the company folded. They have refused to tell us where our shipment is stored, and we have yet to find our belongings, more than a year later. They will not answer their old phone numbers, and we cannot find a new one, they refuse to answer e-mails, and they have our money and $250,000 worth of belongings.

They have reincorporated but we cannot find a new address and phone, they have not contacted us to arrange delivery.Desired Settlement: We want our household items located, and either they deliver to us, or we can arrange for shipment to us from the location by another carrier. We want the cost of delivery refunded to us if they do not deliver so that we can arrange to pay someone else.

Review: I moved out of state and I chose this moving company. They have made a partial delivery of my items.I have called every single day to find out the status of my things.I have been speaking with [redacted] and she has been of no help .she will not put me in touch with any other person to speak with.Desired Settlement: I have many precious items.my mom had passed away and I have in those boxes her death certificate and her citizen ship papers.and lots of other precious items.the things really cant be replaced .I need them found. I don't understand how my stuff could just be lost I JUST WANT MY STUFF BACK.

Business

Response:

Though a bit delayed, the customer's items were delivered. We were not aware of the contents of the boxes and therefore cannot take responsibility for any missing items.

Review: Aug '14Top Priority Moving and Storage company quoted me price to move and store my belongs for aprox 6 months. When the movers packed up my things, they said it was going to be triple the price I was quoted. they also did an extremely poor job moving, the whole experience was horrible. I was originally quoted $1100.00 total. I ended up paying them $1600. and then the said I still had to pay $1200.00 to have my product delivered to VA. They also had originally told me I could have a free month of storage and then 95.00 a month, then the owner said storage was going to be $225.00 a month. In DEC I sent a check to the company and after the New Year, I realized the check had not cleared my bank. So, I called the company to find out if the had rcvd it and found that all the phone numbers had been disconnected. I [redacted] the company and there are numerous claims against this company being a scam and that they have shut down. I have no idea where my things are or how to retrieve them.

I called 311 in NY and the said to file a stolen property report with the police. I went to the police and the wouldn't file the report, they said it was civil not criminal.Desired Settlement: I want all of my belongings delivered immediately and safely to VA at no additional charge to myself.

Review: The company picked up furniture on June ** for four bedrooms house. They took $200 credit deposit and $1400 cash on pick up date to be stored for a month and then delivered to florida. Since July ** they are not answering their phone and there is no where to be found even at their filed address at [redacted] in Brooklyn ny, they just disappeared. We found a storage for them "[redacted]" in Jamaica queens and top priority owner [redacted] is not paying the storage rent since August [redacted] and they can't also get hold on them even on the owner cell phone. They didn't even allow us to check if our belongings is in one of these storage cells. The storage advised that after 100 days of non payment they will sell our staff in auction. All I need is my staff and I will move it on my expenses, I don't need a refund I just want my belongings. Top priority phone number : [redacted] ( owner) cell: [redacted] phone: [redacted] address : [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want my belongings back

Business

Response:

As mentioned to you before, Top Priority Moving is under new management and we have, to the best of our ability, responded to the complaints made against Top Priority Moving.

At this time there is nothing more that we can do so that we can have these issues resolved. We tried to get into contact with the previous partner for the company but to no avail. We do not have any of the contracts or paper works handy and are not able to effectively respond to the claims.

Please advise us as to what our next step should be because as I said, we have no contracts or information to work with nor storage or location of customers’ items.
