Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:My credit union was not requiring a written notice for the pay off total, as the new financing credit union was able to get it, and two other dealerships were able to get the information with out written anything. As far as contact being made with me on paying off the balance that is untrueI have gotten told two plus months ago that someone would be calling me back to discuss LOW monthly payment plans since I could not afford to pay the bill I was getting stuck paying! Noboy has reached out to me since, except for Brandon within the last weekHe has asked me to call him and I have approximately time and again no return callsI can pull up my phone records that will back this information with no calls from them. I was never made aware that it was an estimate when signing paperworkI have several people that were there when I signed paperwork in my friends HOMEThere has been several issues not just with my sell but the other party in the sell, who was never given the difference in their balanceI was made aware that if the pay off was less I would get money backIf they needed written approval why didn't they ask me for it before submitting the information to the bank? My number and email was all over the paper work they hadThe pay off total is the job of the dealership not of the purchaser, I had no idea what a day pay off wasAnd again they call for every other one, and gesa was more then willing to give the information out to anyone that was calling about paying off my car.
Sincerely,
*** ***

Tom Denchel Ford Service Manger has met with Mr. [redacted] to address his warranty claim concerns. Tom Denchel Ford will be replacing a trim piece for the ambient lighting.  Tell us why here...

[redacted]Please see attached document[redacted] 10/17/2017       RE: [redacted]   [redacted]
*     [redacted] purchased a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Vin#[redacted]from Tom O[redacted] Ford on 7/18/2017. At the time of purchase [redacted] provided an estimated...

payoff amount of $15,588.00 on the 2012 Toyota Camry she was trading in.During the transaction [redacted] was not able to provide an accurate payoff due to her credit union requiring a written signed payoff authorization, which was sent by Tom Denchel Ford and received on 7/31/2017 for the payoff amount of $16063.55. (See attached document i.e.:authorization for payoff, payoff letter from credit union and check wrote for payoff)   It was stated to [redacted] the payoff was an estimate. She was also informed that if the payoff was less she would get the difference and if it was more she would need to pay the difference. She agreed and signed the purchase order in section B (see attached document purchase order) that she understood this was only an estimate and was subject to verification.   Tom Denchel Ford sent [redacted] a letter with the amount difference of $475.55 high payoff difference.   [redacted] contacted Tom Oenchel Ford stating she did not have the money and was unable to pay. Tom Denchel Ford agreed to have [redacted] make two payments for the high payoff.Tom Denchel Ford has made several attempts to contact [redacted] to make payment arrangements. She has yet to call or make an attempt to pay.   To resolve this Tom Denchel Ford would like to invite [redacted] to come in or call to work out a reasonable payment plan that works for her. [redacted] is welcome to call me directly at [redacted]     Sincerely, Juan O[redacted]   General Manager Tom Oenchel Ford Cell: [redacted]

Mr. [redacted] came in to our Prosser location of Tom Denchel Ford in early September with an ad on a new truck. The ad stated the vehicle was a diesel. Mr. [redacted] wanted the salesman to confirm the vehicle was in fact a diesel because our website stated the vehicle was gas. Our salesman told Mr....

[redacted] he need to go to our other lot ¼ of a mile away to confirm if it was in fact gas or diesel. Mr. [redacted] was not willing to wait and said to call him when he found out. The salesman called Mr. [redacted] back very shortly to let him know the vehicle was in fact a diesel.
Mr. [redacted] stated we were wasting his time. The salesman offered to fill up his vehicle with gas if he came back to look at the vehicle. Mr. [redacted] agreed to come back to the dealership and look at the vehicle. Mr. [redacted] looked the vehicle over and said he would be back in on Wednesday to purchase the vehicle after he spoke with his wife. Tom Denchel Ford filled Mr. [redacted] vehicle with gas before he went home.
Mr. [redacted] decided against buying the vehicle he looked at and did not come back on Wednesday.
Mr. [redacted] a few weeks later went into our Hermiston Oregon location with a similar ad and asked the salesman there similar questions as he did in the Prosser location previously. Our ad company had either the incorrect VIN number or incorrect MSRP in the ad. We needed to confirm which vehicle was the correct one in the ad. Mr. [redacted] once again not willing to wait and said to call him and he left. The salesman tried multiple times to reach Mr. [redacted]. After finally contacting him the salesman let him know we would be happy to honor the ad. Mr. [redacted] stated he purchased a vehicle from another dealership.
I apologize Mr. [redacted] feels he had his time wasted. We filled his gas tank the first time for the inconvenience and would be happy to do it again. I am not sure what he feels his time is worth but I will be happy to pay for an oil change. On a diesel that is over a 100.00 value.
We honor our prices and we honor our mistakes. Our customers are not getting “duped” as Mr. [redacted] stated. I apologize for any inconvenience to Mr. [redacted] and will remove his email from our data base as he requested.
