The customer agreed to the default and the issue was resolved

I requested a full payment history from Thrift Investment because I believe there is a discrepancy in the amount they claim I owe from the first loan I had with them. All request, both verbal and in writing were ignored. Instead, I was...

forced to pay because they repossessed my vehicle which I needed to get to work. Refusing to prove what I supposedly owed, they expected me to take their word and just pay them. When I demanded proof, they repossessed the vehicle like they were loan sharks coming to collect a debt. Two days before the repossession I asked why I never received the payment history and I was hung up on. The day after the repossession, I called and spoke to 3 different reps, asked about the payment history and how they came up with the amount they say I owed, all 3 hung up on me without explanation. The fourth time I called, I was transferred to the account manager who told me the president of the company would call me back. When he called I asked about why I never received the payment history and how they came up with their figures, he said, "do you have a pen" I said I did. He said, "you owe $2,163.94 thank you" then he hung up. I was also put on hold for 15 minutes each time I called, I recorded each phone call.

This was a misunderstanding between the customer and the organization.  A full refund has been issued and the Customer is satisfied.

I will send the customer a payment history to the address of [redacted] to show the Repossession as well as the insurance pay off for her vehicular theft. These were two separate incidents and the repossession will not be removed from her credit.

I am...

rejecting this response because: why is it  when I was looking for a new car. On my credit at the time said active, not repossession. Then all of a sudden when my car is paid off you guys put it there. It is because you have no other way to put stolen so you lie on peoples credit report. Because at the time when my car was stolen and when it was paid by my insurance company it was not in repossession. Now I will understand if the car was in that status at the time.

I just ran your credit with Experian and it is showing a redeemed repossession as well as a paid account. This means that you got repossessed, redeemed your vehicle from the repossession agent, and then, later on in the future, paid off your car loan. Unfortunately, in this case, the car got stolen and the insurance company had to pay it off. I apologize for the confusion but you redeemed your car after repossession and then it got paid off by your insurance company once it was stolen. The report shows you paid off in October 2014, which is when the company paid off your loan with us.

Mr. [redacted] if an "issue with the mortgage" means that you owe more than the home is worth, you have three choices.  1. You can continue to pay your mortgage and wait for the value to come up.  2. You can attempt to get the bank to cooperate with you on a short sale.  3. You can allow the bank to foreclose on the property.  Since you didn't pay the mortgage and the bank has filed a foreclosure notice, you can contact the bank and work out a payment plan.  If you wish to do that we would be happy to discontinue our efforts to market the property.  If not, let us know if you'd like to either sell this property as a short sale, in which case we'll need you to provide the documents the bank is requesting.  Or, if you'd prefer to let the bank take this property through a foreclosure.  Those are all of the options available at this time.

as to the response that I was aware of the mortgage was higher the agent was told by my and my sister that there were issue with the mortgage. The disclosure was meet and the promised me and my sister [redacted] who also on the listing agreement that the property would not go to short sale or to foreclosure. The agent would never do what we asked her or answer questions. And for here not to say tthat she could never get a hold me is not true my sister name and phone number is on the listing agreement. We both feel that if she had listened to us and worked with us on this it would've been better. The agent was trying out about a property that my mother had sold some years back which has nothing to do with the current property.
