I am rejecting this response because: The chip wasn't noticed immediately because there were many spots of dirt left on the floor and the chip looked like one of them it wasn't discovered until we cleaned up after they left Their cleanup after the job left much to be desired I don't care about the discount on any future jobs because I won't be using them again EVER!
This customer had the work done at the quoted amountThe amount of hours has nothing to do with the amountThe only reason that hours were used was for figuring up at total because the customer originally was going to have his insurance company pay for the workSince the insurance company wanted hrs and amount per hr listed we used that to come up with a quoted amount for the insurance companyThe actually amount of hours and men used to do the work have no bearing on the priceWe charge the amount, and only on the quote regardless how much time it takes to do the job, if we put more hours into the job it is still the same price and the same goes if we are able to do the job in less time or with less guysIf the insurance company would have asked for an open ended quote and just wanted a hourly rate we would have just charged the amount for one man and the hour equated to the projectBut since the customer and the insurance company requested a solid total, and approved the total amount for the project we charge that amount regardless of how much time is involvedYou can't have the best of both worlds, requesting a total amount that we have to do the work for and also wanting less of a cost if the job is done quickerIf you want it to simply be the price of the actual job then the customer has to be ok with doing the job simply at time and material price and hope the final amount is where they would like it to beNever the less I approved a refund back to the customer for the amount of as an act of good will and will send it back to him in the form of a check as soon as I receive a response from the customerMatt P***The Trenchless Guys [redacted] www.thetrenchlessguys.us
This is the first time I received anything from the Revdex.com regarding this issueWe carefully covered the entire floor with dropcloths like we try do on ever job to make sure nothing can happen to the customers propertyOn this one we took extra care because the customer was very detailed and was watching over our shoulder the entire time we were doing the jobAfter the job was done we removed all the drop cloths and got on our hands and knees and scrubbed the entire area we had workedThe was a tool that was dropped when we were working and it landed on the drop clothThe customer was concerned about that so after the job We went over the entire area then with the customer and they agreed that everything was goodThey then signed off on the work order that the work was completed according to there satisfaction and when we left they were happy and even scheduled for more work to be done laterThe tiles that were chipped before were pointed out to the customer and they agreed to it all and that is why they signed off on the work doneI do not feel we are at fault with this issue but as a gesture of good will I am willing to offer the customer a off coupon on any future serviceI'm sorry for the inconvenience that this might have causedMention this letter to redeem the credit on future workThank you
I am rejecting this response because:
I contacted the president CEO of Mr Rooter and this individual franchise is using the MrRooter name and is using is own company to make a bigger profitThe CEO told me they have been trying to bust this owner for awhile and they have been trying to get ahold of him for awhileThe CEO even said I was overcharged with the work done and I still have not received any amount back in returnWhen paperwork says hours and techs and only tech shows up I should not be charged for techs and double the hoursThis is not how MrRooter worksThis is how trenchless works

I'm very sorry you feel that way. We always do our best to clean up as much as possible and after discussing the job with the technicians that we had on the job I'm confident everything was done that they could to make you happy. They made sure also that you were satisfied with the work done as you noted when you signed off on the invoice. We do understand that sometimes we can't completely satisfy everyone. Like we said before we extend a 100.00 credit for future work and I totally understand if you chose to not use us again. We have many many very satisfied customers and treat all of our customers the same way.
This customer had the work done at the quoted amount. The amount of hours has nothing to do with the amount. The only reason that hours were used was for figuring up at total because the customer originally was going to have his insurance company pay for the work. Since the insurance company wanted...
hrs and amount per hr listed we used that to come up with a quoted amount for the insurance company. The actually amount of hours and men used to do the work have no bearing on the price. We charge the amount, and only on the quote regardless how much time it takes to do the job, if we put more hours into the job it is still the same price and the same goes if we are able to do the job in less time or with less guys. If the insurance company would have asked for an open ended quote and just wanted a hourly rate we would have just charged the amount for one man and the hour equated to the project. But since the customer and the insurance company requested a solid total, and approved the total amount for the project we charge that amount regardless of how much time is involved. You can't have the best of both worlds, requesting a total amount that we have to do the work for and also wanting less of a cost if the job is done quicker. If you want it to simply be the price of the actual job then the customer has to be ok with doing the job simply at time and material price and hope the final amount is where they would like it to be. Never the less I approved a refund back to the customer for the amount of 150.00 as an act of good will and will send it back to him in the form of a check as soon as I receive a response from the customer. This is the first time I received anything from the Revdex.com regarding this issue. watching over our shoulder the entire time we were doing the job. After the job was done we removed all the drop cloths and got on our hands and knees and scrubbed the entire area we had worked. The was a tool that was dropped when we were working and it landed on the drop cloth. The customer was concerned about that so after the job We went over the entire area then with the customer and they agreed that everything was good. They then signed off on the work order that the work was completed according to there satisfaction and when we left they were happy and even scheduled for more work to be done later. The tiles that were chipped before were pointed out to the customer and they agreed to it all and that is why they signed off on the work done. I do not feel we are at fault with this issue but as a gesture of good will I am willing to offer the customer a 100.00 off coupon on any future service. I'm sorry for the inconvenience that this might have caused. Mention this letter to redeem the credit on future work. Thank you
