Ms. [redacted],Thank you for making our company aware of your concerns.  In regards to you receiving an estimate for the services provided, this is something we would be more than happy to provide you with today since we are now back in the office. However, we have handled your job as we...

do every other job we perform.  This is as follows; our company performs the Packout and inventory services at the affected residence and we get the appropriate documentation signed, including your insurance information for billing purposes.  All billing goes through the homeowner's insurance company and we negotiate with them directly, allowing the homeowner to not be inconvenienced.  Occasionally, we have claims that do not get approved through the homeowner's insurance, resulting in the bill being out of pocket for the homeowner.  When this is the case, our estimator will then work directly with the homeowner on the billing and work out any concerns they may have.  In regards to the storage facility that your belongings were stored at, our company receives a bill from them.  They do not prorate their storage fees and when contents are stored in there warehouse for a part of the month; we are billed for the entire month of storage.  This is how their billing works and is how we bill on our invoices.  As previously mentioned, since we are aware that this is an out of pocket expense for you now, our estimator will be getting your adjusted invoice together as well as your inventory report to send over to you today.  It is never our intention to leave a homeowner stuck with a large bill; so we will work directly with you now on resolving your billing with our company and addressing any of your concerns.
