I took surveys for a long time with VIP Voice. I bid on and won a Bose sound bar. When I received the prize I searched several retailers to get a sense of its worth. I found that it was selling for between three hundred fifty to three hundred ninety three dollars. On Feb.*,2016 I received a W2 stating I had seven hundred dollars of income received from the NPD Group. Where does NPD get the info from? If I can buy this discontinued product at the time why should I pay taxes on twice the amount?
Review: In December I won a few ipad stands. I was told the items would be received 4-6 weeks. I should've received my ipad stands in January. It is now April and haven't received any of the ipad stands. In March I became so tired of waiting that I asked could my survey points be refunded and from now on I would pick items that were delivered via internet such as e-certificates. NPD didn't want to do that. It's been 3 months and I haven't received any of the products I've won. Poor customer service.Desired Settlement: I'd like my points refunded to my account and I will pick something that doesn't have to be delivered.

I apologize for the experience that you had with our rewards program.
We have confirmed that you did win a tablet stand back in November and two more in December through our BidLand reward program. As is a standard with loyalty programs, BI Worldwide, a 3rd party fulfillment vendor sends out all prizes on behalf of NPD. They have a history of 60 years as a leader in rewards fullfillment.
All three tablets were indeed shipped out via BI Worldwide to the [redacted] address that you registered with when joining VIP Voice. While looking through your records, we learned that you have recently changed your address to a [redacted] location.
In March, when you requested to have your points refunded to your account, the request went to BI Worldwide, rather than NPD (VIP Voice) customer service. Since BI Worldwide only manages the shipment of the rewards and not the distribution of points, they were not equipped to refund points to your account. Unfortunately, this request was never communicated to NPD customer service.
BI Worldwide will be contacting you within the next 3 business days, to confirm your shipping address so we can have all three tablet stands reshipped to you immediately. In addition to the tablet stands, we have also credited back all 2,996 points that you used to win these three prizes, plus an additional 1,000 points for the inconvenience. The points are already in your account and available for you to use.
