If there was a zero stars, this company would receive that. A complete scam.

I ordered the basket on Thursday night with the wrong shipment. Never realizing that the shipping rate was more than the basket (shipping was $104 and the basket $89).

I immediately attempted to cancel the order, there was no option and customer service was closed. I sent an email directly following and called the next morning at the exact time customer service opens, 9am ET. And was told that I could receive credit for the order but she will need to speak with the manager and then comes back on the phone to tell me there is nothing she can do but the manager will email me. She promised me that I’d receive a response.

I never received a response. 4 emails, 3 phone calls, no help.

I hope your company shuts down. Do not order from them.

The most dreadful, uncooperative and abysmal customer service! However great the gift basket and produce may be, should there arise an issue with say, delivery, you will NOT receive any assistance to rectify the problem.

Hazelton's USA (in my experience) is a Bait-And-Switch SCAMMER Company. They did not send what I ordered and paid for nor did they send what their confirmation email listed. The basket was a gift and it arrived as a mess, tossed around the fruit in shipping which was poorly secured, and it was missing 3 of the 4 add-on items I specifically ordered. They sent items that I would never have ordered. I tried twice to resolve with Customer Service and they will not call to discuss. They just keep repeating in an email that they can send whatever they want as substitutions and imply that the customer has no rights. They also will not call to answer questions on the safety of consumption on the substitutions they made that were to be kept refridgerated (yet were shipped un-refridgerated) or to answer to the fruit that was damaged in shipping. I recommend you find any gift basket company for your gifts other than Hazelton's USA.

They never even gave my mom what she ordered! This place is a scam and a rip off. They show high commodity items and give you cheap no name brand crap that is junk! They don’t even give you what you ordered! Stay away, I promise you will be dissatisfied and they have a no return no refund policy cause they know you will not like it. Imagine that!

I purchased a bereavement gift for my friend who had recently lost her father. I ordered, what was sold as a package, a bottle of champagne and a flower arrangement. To that I added a second bottle of champagne. I also paid for next day shipping. The order did not arrive the next day and when it did arrive the carton it came in was completely broken with nails popping out of it. The flowers were dead and the water from the flowers had spilled all over the champagne boxes causing them to buckle. When my friend called to report this no one answers the phone. My friend emailed and was working with Oscar who said that I shouldn’t have sent a perishable item with boxes of champagne. The website sells this as a SET!! He further offered to provide her with replacement items of her choosing so she chose several gourmet snack items. The next day an order came and not ONE of the items she requested was sent to her. Instead the company sent random items of their choosing. My friend emailed Oscar to advise what had happened and to ask why the items she chose were not sent to her and he NEVER responded to her email. The whole situation was just awful and this company has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen! Further if perishable items shouldn’t be sent with champagne do not offer that package on the website! Disgusting
HAZELTON USA SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS

This company is a scam. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I ordered a custom champagne gift basket for my daughter on her wedding day. I selected 2 cheeses, crackers and breadsticks, mustard and chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate truffles. They did not send any cheese- they sent cheese straws. Also they sent NO strawberries at all. It was so disappointing. When I contacted the company, they said they had the right to make substitutions and they were not going to refund or replace anything. They said it’s common problem practice in the gift basket industry to make substitutions. In fact sometimes they will substitute entire orders!
This company is such a scam. They don’t feel the need to notify the customer that they are making changes or in some case- completely omitting items. Customer service at this company is a joke. BUYER BEWARE

Hazelton’s gifts is horrible. I ordered two jelly belly dispensers for my grandchildren (Frozen and Micky Mouse) They we’re adorable in the photos but I received two baskets with candy that maybe an adult might like. Not kids. So disappointed. Of course they tell me substitutions are allowed. How about checking with the customer first? I spent over $100 on junk that no one here wants. My daughter also sent me a gift basket through this company. Asked for Chard wine got Savi Blanc Don’t waste your money.

I am so disappointed with a birthday basket which I had ordered for my daughter. When she received it, the cake was completely ruined and smashed. One of the two bottles of wine I ordered was incorrect. I ordered five cheeses to be included in the basket but there were only two. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and embarrassed about what I thought would be a fabulous birthday gift. Given the amount I paid, I expected so much more than what was received. When contacted, the company offered nothing to make up for the missing items or smashed cake. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Worst bunch of frauds
I see that this company doesn't post all reviews as several customers have reported this company as being fraudulent, including myself. I ordered a beautifully pictured chocolate covered strawberry basket as a gift and they got something completely different that was no where near the same value. They claim that they will substitute due to availability but this was the second time they did this with the exact same piece of crap I didn't order. No refund, no explanation, no attempt of trying to satisfy expectations. DO NOT USE THESE FRAUDS! You will never get what you paid for. The entire company should be sued.

This company is surprisingly pathetic, especially because they’re a gifting company. THEE worst customer service I have ever experienced; Extremely rude and condescending. Perhaps it’s because they’re British and they don’t get much sunshine?

On their website, they have an option of selecting a date and time of delivery. NOTHING states there is no guarantee until after a transaction is made. It’s quite misleading when one is able to select a date of delivery for international orders and there is no warning that it’s not guaranteed to arrive At the time that you select. You have to read the “fine” print AFTER the transaction is made.

Anyway, I would suggest going with a company that has your best interest in mind. These people evil and just want your money.
