It is true that she made an appointment to bring her dog for a haircut. On the date, her boyfriend dropped the dog. When asked by the offi ze attendant what he was looking for, he had indica ted that the dog belcnged to his girlfriend and he was just dropping off. He had made a comment at that time...

that she wants the mane left, lilte a lion. We then spoke to the owner by phone; she indicated to the groomer that she wanted the dog cut like a lion, leaving the mane (which we did not touch) and the hind end cut short. The groomer indicated to her it would look goofy with his butt just shaved so she asked her if she would rather want his body all one length and she sa d yes. The boyfriend picked up and paid for the service. It wasn't until that evening that they both came in demanding their money back to ny employee who knew nothing of the situation. She  then made a call to me asking what was E,oing on, I could hear them in the background yelling at her, demanding the money returned. Aft2r several minutes of trying to explain the issue I told him that I would have to talk to all the employees and try to figure out what was said. The next cay he called again demanding the return of the money and that he'd be in Friday to get it. I normtly do anything I can to malte my clients happy, but with the rudeness to myself and my employees I could tell there was no reasoning With these people. They indicated they would do everythir g in their power to spread the word; they ended the conversation with "You'll be sorrV'. On the she returned to the kennel, she came in very upset and demanding to talk to me. I could see she was upset and wouldn't listen to me, just demanding a refund. She left threating again "You'll regret it", and "You'll lose all your business". She was asked at that point to not return with her threats. I contacted a friend with the law enforcement office. He indicated that we should  document all the encounters and if it continues we had an option to file a harassment and trespassing com Olaint. Later that morning, her mother and an older woman returned, again demanding the rncney to be returned. The conversation started out very cordial, but as I tr;ed to explain that her daughter and boyfriend were very rude, to not only me but my employees and that her daughter had already started to tarnish the business, what good would the return cf the  money do when she already started the orocess. It just happened that at that point an off duty  investigator was dropping off his pet. M/ office personnel was explaining the situation, he noticed she was raising her voice and he indicated to her that they got a service requested and patd for said servce and that it was a CM: complafnt and told her she needed to leave the propeny. A few (iays later there were negative comments on our Facebook page from her ard the family. I indiælted to all my employee:; to not comment on the statements. We do every type of dog at our facility, clients ask for strange cuts, long cuts, short cuts and we try to do as requested. t talked to several people with double coated animals that return several times a year, no complaints and the hatr always grows back. I have a hard time believing that the hair on "hero dog will not grow back. The only complaint I get is it grows too fast. I recently had a customer do the Game cut on her double coated mllie/shepherd mix, after seeing the result cf this one. She loved it, Perfect for summer she says. I truly believe my groomer did what was asked. I do believe it was a matter of the friend not Giving the correct infomation on the groom and retuming to an unhappy owner. I normally would work with unhappy diene, but I don't when thjeab and harassments are used as there defense.
