we purchased two vehicles in Toledo in and at Findlay location in now again in Findlay in Both locations went out of their way to make our deals happenwe were treated with outstanding professionalism and service at each and every visitwe highly recommend Taylor KIA to anyone mentioning interest in a vehicle purchase

I purchased a KIA Soul with [redacted] at the end of May My initial experience was positive and everyone was friendly That said, I am taking time to make sure that anyone who reads this takes my advice If you purchase a car from [redacted] KIA, make sure you cross every t and dot every iespecially when they go through the financing with you Make them go slowthey run through the paperwork like there is a line out the door They will promise you a remote car starter and make it sound like they are throwing it in (which is EXACTLY what I was told) It turns out, the starter is $550.00, which of course, you get to finance I was sat down with a folder of options for my new KIA and told I got to pick out a few things to go with my car It turns out, I got to do this because they were charging me $for these itemsrubber car mats, a tray for the trunk They will beam about the year 100,warranty on the car and how it's the best in the industry They will not tell you that it will cost you $(financed and taxed) to get this warranty There are other things, like a tire warranty for $560.00, which they tell you about, but do not discuss what it costs Had it not been for closely examining my bill of sale after the fact, I never would have known just how much extra [redacted] was being financed A responsible consumer should do that when they buy something When car dealerships whisk you off your feet and there is the euphoria of buying a new car, sometimes it falls in the hands of the car dealer to go through each charge with you I estimate that I financed $more than I should have because of what I consider to be shady tactics by [redacted] KIA They of course will disagree To their credit, I was given a check for the cost of the remote starter and the "extras" I had to pay for Even though I was told they were "being thrown in", they made me give the rubber car mats back, along with the trunk tray Combined, those items can't possible retail for more than $ It's sad, because I left [redacted] KIA that day happy and excited about my new car My sales person was so nice and helpfulTpday I feel almost like I was taken to some degree My hope it that someone about to buy a car there will read this and learn from my mistakes I am not going to trash [redacted] KIA I simply am suggesting to all of you reading this that you be methodical with every charge Make them spell it all out Have the finance department go through everything line by line If you don't, you will walk out of [redacted] Kia paying a [redacted] of a lot more than you should have A "Dealer for the People", does not do this to customers I'm leaving a neutral reviewonly because some of my money was refunded to me and at least they did that But [redacted] all of this could have been avoided had your sales and finance team been upfront about certain charges, and had you not been so petty as to make me return the $rubber car mats, which I was promised in the first place Lesson learned At least I got a good car out of the deal

I saw a commercial a few days ago about how Taylor Kia would pay up to $6,over the KBB value of your trade inI was interested because I bought a car months ago that I didn't really want anymore but had a loan and the KBB price was less then the loan priceThe KBB value of my car is $4,as a trade in and I have it financed for $6,I typed in all my info about my car on their site and got a call from a sales person the next day telling me my car was a high demand carI told him I need close to the amount I have it financed for and I told him the amount and he said they would work very hard to get it close to that amount and seemed happy about itI was very serious about him not wasting my timeBecause my SUV has a Vengine and we live an hour awayHe said that we had to bring it in for them to know what they could pay because an appraiser would have to look at my carSo I agreed because he made me feel like we would be able to get a good deal
So in the crappy rain/snow mix weather my husband and I drove an hour to get their and we walked in and said we had an appointment with *** and the salesperson took us back to his office area I'm guessing *** was busySo he was working with us and I explained the situation to him and he immediately started acting like they weren't going to give me what I wantedSo he got all our info, our license and incomeHe asked us what payment we wanted and I wanted to stay around $a month because that's what I'm currently payingHe ran our credit and said that sense we have decent credit that they could possibly put us in a pre owned vehicleBut that we would be paying around $a month and I said no, and he was wanting to put us in a Ford Edge and I asked how much it was and he said he didn't knowWhich is BS! I told him I wanted a car around $10,and that they had a Ford Escape for that muchHe started saying they can't do that because they need to hide my negative equityI asked how much negative equity and he wouldn't tell meWhich I should also add that when they "appraised" my car all the appraiser did was walk to the driver side, open the door, got the vin, and the mileage and that was allTHEY COULD OF DONE THAT OVER THE PHONE!!!!!! Anyways the salesperson went and got *** and *** told us they would give us an amount that was LESS THEN KBB VALUE!! I went there because they were offering more then KBB value, but they offered me LESS! And told me they only offer that $6,if you buy a $40,carThis place is a joke, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemyWaste of time!! They didn't care either that they wasted my time, gas and energyI saw a sign that said they want to be #in the regionLOL they will never be #with that serviceThey don't care about their customers

Do NOT even go hereThey will call you on the phone and text the hell out of youThey will do this even though you request to be taken off their call listAll they do is play gamesAnd after you tell them you do not wish to do business with them they still call and text youDo NOT Ever give them your phone number or addressAnd remember all you need to test drive a car is a valid drivers licenseAll they did with me is play games and more gamesI told them I was not interested in the car or themEspecially after all the game playingThey still called and texted me several times

I purchased a KIA Soul with [redacted] at the end of May. My initial experience was positive and everyone was friendly. That said, I am taking time to make sure that anyone who reads this takes my advice. If you purchase a car from [redacted] KIA, make sure you cross every t and dot every iespecially when they go through the financing with you.

Make them go slowthey run through the paperwork like there is a line out the door.

They will promise you a remote car starter and make it sound like they are throwing it in (which is EXACTLY what I was told). It turns out, the starter is $550.00, which of course, you get to finance.

I was sat down with a folder of options for my new KIA and told I got to pick out a few things to go with my car. It turns out, I got to do this because they were charging me $179.00 for these itemsrubber car mats, a tray for the trunk...

They will beam about the 10 year 100,000 warranty on the car and how it's the best in the industry. They will not tell you that it will cost you $1750 (financed and taxed) to get this warranty.

There are other things, like a tire warranty for $560.00, which they tell you about, but do not discuss what it costs.

Had it not been for closely examining my bill of sale after the fact, I never would have known just how much extra [redacted] was being financed.

A responsible consumer should do that when they buy something. When car dealerships whisk you off your feet and there is the euphoria of buying a new car, sometimes it falls in the hands of the car dealer to go through each charge with you.

I estimate that I financed $3300 more than I should have because of what I consider to be shady tactics by [redacted] KIA. They of course will disagree. To their credit, I was given a check for the cost of the remote starter and the "extras" I had to pay for. Even though I was told they were "being thrown in", they made me give the 4 rubber car mats back, along with the trunk tray. Combined, those items can't possible retail for more than $30.

It's sad, because I left [redacted] KIA that day happy and excited about my new car. My sales person was so nice and helpful. Tpday I feel almost like I was taken to some degree.

My hope it that someone about to buy a car there will read this and learn from my mistakes. I am not going to trash [redacted] KIA. I simply am suggesting to all of you reading this that you be methodical with every charge. Make them spell it all out. Have the finance department go through everything line by line. If you don't, you will walk out of [redacted] Kia paying a [redacted] of a lot more than you should have.

A "Dealer for the People", does not do this to customers.

I'm leaving a neutral reviewonly because some of my money was refunded to me and at least they did that. But [redacted]all of this could have been avoided had your sales and finance team been upfront about certain charges, and had you not been so petty as to make me return the $30 rubber car mats, which I was promised in the first place.

Lesson learned. At least I got a good car out of the deal.

[redacted] is a wonderful salesman. we will try and send some business his way. we also want to thank you for the calendar! it was a big surprise. All of these things combined made for such an amazing car buying experience and that is why we will always buy our cars from Taylor KIA!
