Review: The Taco Bell in Chester has banners all over the building advertising their new Dollar Menu and the items listed on that menu. I decided to visit that store and ordered several items from the newly advertised dollar menu. At the register, I was charged $1.49 per item. Upon inquiry, I was told by the [redacted] that "Our store is a franchise and does not have to honor corporate prices."I fully understand that...but then why would they deploy corporate's banners and advertisements all over the building inviting passing traffic to check out their new dollar menu. Every item listed was more than a dollar. The advertisements were completely unethical and deceptive. I felt I was tricked into coming into this store. "Bait and switch" tactics are also illegal for large corporations.Desired Settlement: They should take down the Dollar menu banners at this franchise or honor the prices stated on their windows.
