Again, once the shipment leaves our facility we do not have control over it We were contract to pack the shipment and bring it back to our warehouse Another driver from another company picked it up from here and transported to destinationThere is no evidence of where the items allegedly went missing We are more than happy to speak with the Hardin County Detective for this report and give whatever information is needed If it is found that one of our employees had anything to do with the missing items we will be more than willing to replace the items

We are subcontracted with another company to handle the packing and loading of these items to bring back to our warehouse We actually have no control over claims that are accepted or denied in these cases If the claim was denied this would mean that the third party company found no transit damages We do not have control over what happens with the shipment after our part is done

All issues with this move do not stem from Atlas van line transporting our goods. The issue is with your lack of care when packing and wrapping our household goods. Your packers and loaders did not do the following:Plastic wrap our furniture completely causing dirt and grease stains on the skirt of our couch, loveseat, chair, and ottoman. The wrap was from the top to approximately inches before the bottom. If your packers/loaders would have taken the time to wrap the entire pieces, we would not have this issue 2. Leg was broken on the couch because the packers/loaders did not unscrew them from the couch. Every other military move, this action is performed 3. Our brand new Whirlpool freezer has a huge dent due to the loaders trying to pack every box, every piece of furniture into two Budget rental trucks to take back to YOUR warehouse. This is not just a small dent, this is a very deep gouge on the top of the freezer. There was no protective blankets/cardboard/plastic used to protect this item. Your very staff said they did not come prepared with this and could not go back to Louisville to get it because there was no time.4. Our washer and dryer was also not wrapped in protective blankets/cardboard/plastic and therefore sustained multiple dents on the top lids. Though these are minor, they were not there before you crammed them into two Budget rental trucks to take them back to your warehouse 5. We just re-finished (weeks prior to move) a Antique Claw-foot Pedestal Gaming Table. We pointed this out to your packers/loaders and we were assured that you would wrap this for transport. This did not happen and the top is horribly scratched. Again, your packers/loaders did not come prepared and we are suffering the consequences 6. Our KitchenAid Food Processor top bowl with safety pin was broken. This is understandable but should be reimbursable for repair as it was packed appropriately but still broke in the move. We, as a military family, totally understand breakage like this 7. My son and I both had Xbox One's with the components, headsets, games, and a small TV. THEY WERE NOT IN ANY BOX FROM OUR ENTIRE MOVE. They were especially not in the box where the serial numbers were marked and noted. You can say they were sealed in the box when they left the house, however, I nor my family members never witnessed them go in to the boxes prior to sealing. We also don't know the possibility that the box was changed once taken to YOUR warehouse waiting for transport. BOTTOM LINE, they were there for you to pack, but they DID NOT make it to our house. This is why we consider this a theft by YOUR employees and promptly filed a police report. We will follow through with this investigation if you choose not to take responsibility. I have attached the report so that you will know who you can contact. You need to know that the younger of the two women packing our home left to smoke every 15-minutes. It is plausible that she took our items. Also, the day you moved our things to your warehouse, you had many, many people there that could have switched the boxes. You can deny this all you want, but I am telling you that one or more of your employees stole from my family. In my years of service, I have NEVER had to file a claim for damage/loss of our household goods The bottom line is that my damage and loss/theft did not take place in transit. This happened with your packers and loaders. You need to do what is right and own up to this mistake and compensate me for it. I work my butt off each and every day doing what it takes to protect my family and this country--that includes YOU. I am sickened at the hoops I am having to jump through just to have what is damaged and missing made right to me and my family
