Review: I purchased a "deal" from a third party. [redacted]. I purchased this with the deal staing hair, make-up, costume clothing, photography, and a choice of 5 editing printed copies. I arrived at their "new" (almost vaccant) location, I sat with 3 other women who purchased the same deal in a hot, crowed, barely furnished room. With hesitancy I continued and had my makeup applied, my hair done, and chose an outfit to prepare for the pin-up/vintage photo shoot. The girls were pleasant, and I actually had an ok time when it was said and done. Since I purchased the deal online, and I purchased no offered "extras" I tipped all 3 staff members cash, and I was told when I was leaving I should expect my photograph proofs in approximately 3 weeks. About that time had passed and I did recieve my proofs, I then email the owner back with my 5 chosen photos I selected to have edited, enlarged, and printed (as I paid for). This was July 11-28th. I had not heard anything from the owner or any staff member for weeks via email, so I then began to call. There has NEVER been an answer I would always need to leave a message. I finally received an email response at the end of August, this stating they needed the date I had the photos taken, and my choices again?? - very unorganized. This I could have overlooked, however after resent all of my information, I then received another email stating they "are still waiting on you to send the $25 for the extra outfit change We sent you several invoices and heard nothing in return." I never received ONE message/phone call/letter/email from them, let alone anything related to me "owing" MORE money. I explained this to them in another email, in hopes of refreshing their memory, but of course I have heard nothing! This I believe is just an excuse so they do not have to deliver the product I paid for. I have read NUMEROUS reviews and complaints online recently with very similar complaints. I believe at this point this is a con and fraudulent company.Desired Settlement: I would hate for this to effect anyone else. I would like a refund, or better yet the product I paid for! An acknowledgment of the unprofessional ways this "company" is run needs to be addressed and any privledges they have with 3rd party companies ([redacted], [redacted], [redacted], etc) needs to be REVOKED!!!! - I would make that #1

Review: On July 23, 2012 I paid Styledelphia $324 for two photo sessions for myself and a friend. We made the appointment for August 15, 2012. On August 15, 2012, my friend and I arrived at the appointment and none of the Styledelphia staff were present, nor was the facility open. On August 17, my friend contacted [redacted] (I believe her last name is [redacted]), owner of Styledelphia, and explained that we wanted a refund. By August 24, 2012, I still did not receive my refund and attempted to again contact [redacted]. At that point, [redacted] explained that she was unaware as to whether we wanted to reschedule or if we wanted a refund. I again explained that we wanted a refund. She said she did not have enough money in her account and that she would be able to pay me within a week. I did not receive my refund.I was unable to get in touch with [redacted] until March 18, 2013. After repeated phone calls and emails, she finally picked up and explained that she would refund my money. I sent her a confirmation email detailing the amount of money owed, when the original photo shoot was and what type of credit card was charged. She never responded to the email nor did she refund my money.I again emailed [redacted] on May 9, 2013 asking for a refund. She did not respond. At this point, Styledelphia has been unjustly enriched by charging my credit card $324 for services I never received. I am horrified by the company's behavior and sincere disregard for the law.Desired Settlement: $324 for the services I paid for on my [redacted] but never received.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Although I disagree with the statements of fact made within the respondent's letter, I appreciate their response to resolve this matter.
