A voice mail message was left for mother on 09/26/asking her to call our office for further information. Payment available 09/30/

The process is if the patient has primary commercial insurance and *** is secondary, *** will not consider the claim without the explanation of benefits from the primary insurance company.The primary insurance company will not process the claim because the family has not notified them and updated the COB (coordination of benefits) information.Until they get this information, the claim will not be processed This is not in our control It is regulated by the insurance companies

The mother brought her daughter to our facility and signed as the Guarantor of the account.  We obtained authorization for ten (10) days from [redacted] and the claim was billed.  On 02/09/2016, [redacted] informed us they required a Coordination of Benefits from...

the Guarantor to process the claim.  The mother has been notified.  However, as of this date, [redacted] has yet to receive the information requested from the family.  This makes the entire bill the patient’s responsibility.  We are happy to help any way possible.
