Ms*** *** submitted an application and signed a Hold Deposit Agreement on May 12, for a target modate of May 19, On May 18, I, *** ***, contacted Ms*** to schedule her moappointmentAt that time she stated that she was having a hard time setting up her
internet and cable due to the last resident having a delinquent account with the providerI explained that she would need to provide a copy of her lease to confirm her residency to establish services, but she believed that to be too complicatedI also offered to call the service provider on her behalf to resolve the situation and she insisted on cancelling out her applicationI explained To Ms*** that she would be forfeiting her holding deposit which she did not argue and then the call was disconnected. We would like to deny her refund of her $holding deposit because her complaint was not directed towards our Management staff or community, but of a service that was not necessary and a provider that she choseDue to the cancelation of her application we had a loss of $for days that the premises remained vacantWe in turn use the hold deposit to recover the loss incurred in these situationsPlease see attached Hold Deposit Agreement that was signed by Ms*** agreeing to the terms of agreement
