Review: St Lukes billing department has informed me since September to disregard the bill that I have been receiving monthly because there is a problem with the coding, however I continue to receive a bill, and I have received letters that threaten to report the bill to my credit report. Today I spoke with [redacted] from the billing department, and when I spoke to her, I asked to speak to her supervisor in order to rectify the situation, she stated that her supervisors were at lunch and she could not tell me when they would be back, what days they worked, or if they would ever call me back. I find this very difficult to fathom, and frankly, offensive. I have done my due diligence in trying to correct this billing situation with both my insurance company and St. Luke for 5 months in a row to no avail. I am now seeking assistance to fix this once and for all since it appears as though the normal routine for calling as one normally would does not seem to work. Perhaps St. Lukes needs to reflect on the hiring practices as well as their billing practices.Desired Settlement: I want the billing department to correct the billing issue so that the insurance company can be billed correctly and finally the bills can stop coming to me and I can stop getting the run around from the billing department at St. Lukes. If I receive a negative report on my credit from this then St. Lukes will be responsible for cleaning up my credit report as well as raising the score because of the adverse effects.

Dear **. [redacted]:
I am in receipt of the above mentioned complaint ID. I have had the opportunity to review the issues set forth in the complaint and have spoken with the "customer" [redacted] on Monday, March 3rd. Please be advised that [redacted] was not the patient in question, but rather his daughter [redacted] was. Because this was not made clear to me, it took longer to research the issue. Once it was determined that [redacted] was the patient in question we were able to reach a resolution to [redacted]' issues, and I assured him that I would speak with the associate he previously spoke with, and that I would personally make sure the claim for the medical services in question gets submitted correctly to his health insurance carrier.
I assured [redacted] that there would be no negative marks put onto his credit report in relation to this case. He understood and was thankful for the call that I placed with him. I provided my name and direct number so that he can contact me directly with any future concerns. Thank you for bringing this complaint to my attention.
Sincerely,
