Mr*** was and has been given a chance for us to finish his project. Mr*** started this issue by Emailing me early in the project. Because his rude and unprofessional conduct and My Companies Ethics, we decided to terminate the contract. Shortly after that Mr*** Mother
in law and wife both begged me to continue the project. The wife even, by her own request did not want her husband present while we worked on the project. On July 11, in a taped phone call conversation with Mr., *** and I, verbally entered into a contract. We agreed to Mr*** request on a start date and end date. On July 14, Mr., *** terminated the contract days prior to start. Mr*** sent me his version of a liquidated contract. He only credited me with 1/hours worked at 2/the hourly rate and about half price for materials. You can’t defraud a customer, when he terminates a contract when he thinks he can threaten me with court. Mr*** if you have a case please take me to court if not please pay the remaining amount owed so I won’t have to file a lien on your property. It will save you money in the long run. Also, beware Mr*** has used my letter head to create a document for me to sign, first I don’t sign documents created by someone using my letter head. With all the identity theft around I was not aware he would do something like this. But because he wrote the document and terminated the contract for not signing his contract that he wrote under my letterhead. is against the law I believe. He has filed several complaints and so far, no one is helping him. Wonder why MrDixon. He is trying to make extra cashEstimated labor 3000.00. We cannot offer him a refund due to him terminating the contract. He has been invoice per the terms and conditions of the contract which he agreed and signed

I am rejecting this response because:
In terms of Mr. [redacted]'s response; I reject it and am attaching a detailed document that I put together for the Home Advisor claim representative. I know it is a lot, but what you will see is that this company started my project on May 8th with the promise of having it complete before May 18th...which was very important to me because we were hosting a kindergarten graduation party then. Unfortunately I ended up having to try and get this company to complete my job for almost two month after that and still it was never done. The fact is I paid 75% of the agreed upon amount and owed him the remaining 25% upon completion and that never happened. The other fact is (which I can provide supporting documentation if necessary) is that I am now having to pay another company who is currently working and will take 3-4 days to complete the job he left behind. Therefore, for this company to now claim that I somehow owe them more money when I paid 75% for an unfinished project to begin with is extortion and I have forwarded that invoice to my attorney.
