I want my deposite/downpayment refunded On OctX XXXX I test drove a new 4Runner truck at South Point Toyota in Calgary, AB I liked the vehicle but had concerns with the price and interest rate I entered into a signed document of some kind without fully understanding it, and used my credit card to put $down in good faith believing it was refundable I am not sure if that was a deposte or downpayment, but believed it was refundable if I chose to not buy the vehicle So to play safe, I added a handwritten clause into the contract saying "Pending Satisfactory Interest Rate" I asked for a copy of the contract document, and they refused to give me a copy Once I got home, I realized the interest rate was too high and I could not afford the vehicle so I called the sales rep immediately and told him Sorry and that I could not buy the vehicle because the interest rate was too high, and asked them to refund the downpayment/deposite to my credit card The sales rep said he would

Was sold a complete detailing package, including hand wash, for my father's scion Told it was on sale for $ When I picked the car up, it was filthy Not vacuumed inside, mats were sopping wet, dirty, drip marks on outside, not wiped inside, and mirrors were completely knocked askew - very rough As the service department was closed, someone else came out and looked at the car and agreed it was a very poor job Said it would be resolved Despite sending photos of the poor work and asking to speak to a manager and leaving voice mails several times, I was not contacted by a manager I was told a refund was not possible by a clerk

Great experience and very friendly

I am looking forward to get my Refund back(which is Canadian Dollars),but they are not willing to refund my money back

on April 17th : I paid dollars Deposit, but I did not signed that Day on any document which says(initial Deposit Non Refundable) and I did not get any receipt from them apart from my credit Receipt
before making the Deposit,I dealt with Sales Rep(Connie) and they agreed to give away the Vehicle for 32,all in(taxes, freight etc),and one more thing I clearly mentioned that I am looking for zero percent finance for 3-years, for this She told I won't guarantee, but I will try....before making the Payment,She clearly mentioned that,If You don't like the rate of interest, you can say No.....and that day they took dollars deposit to do further processing and I left from there....later hour Ryan(Finance Manager) Called and told me that Your loan is approved, I took lot of e

Not satisfied with the finance arrangements South Pointe Toyota will not return my $deposit
June 22/2:pm met salesman Dennis *** at dealership and test drove used Toyota Tundra
Discussed sales price of $34,and finance arrangements and was advised that advertised 0% financing was not an option Other advertised benefits $10,cash back and beneficial prize wheel spin were not elgible
Led to belive that $deposit was payable and $for trade in would decrease agreed purchase price of $35,
Met Finance Manager Micheal *** and discussed extended warranty, and vehicle optionsMike said he would shop for a finance carrier and I paid $deosit from two *** accounts
Received notification via e-mail at 5;pm June that financing had been arranged
Received copy of unsigned sales agreement at 10:00pm June and shortly realized that vehicle was going to cost $47,
8:am June made calls to service de

Minor Hail Damage not disclosed on RAV bought on Sep 08,
I bought RAVfrom dealership with my friend on Sep 08, It was raining and we did not noticed hail damageAfter two three days, one of my friend looking at the car told me that it is hail damageI was shocked and just to ensure, I showed to another person who also confirmed that the vehicle has minor hail damageI called at dealership on Sep 19, and sales manager used car told me to bring in next dayI took my car to dealership and the said manager said he will call me laterAfter having no call, I called back and the manager said that car proof says no claim and you can make a claim from you insuranceI told him I can't as my insurance coverage starts after I bought which was hail damaged before the coverage started
Finally he said, he can't do any thing about as I reported after two weeks

I've been a Toyota customer for years I went in a few years ago to possibly trade my RAV in to get a lower monthly payment, traded for a Corolla Decided I didn't like the Corolla for winter driving in Calgary so went in to talk about trading again Lo & behold I find out I'm actually STILL paying for the RAV under my Corolla loan, a piece of information the salesman deliberately neglected to tell me I would never have agreed to get a lessor vehicle and still pay for a better vehicle I didn't even have anymore Really disappointed in the treatment I received from salesman, Craig *** who will lie through his teeth just to make a sale So they've lost a pretty good customer since I come in every couple of years to trade upMy fault, I guess I didn't ask the right questions so buyer beware when using this dealership and dealing with this salesman, if you don't ask he definitely won't offer up all the information you need to make your decision, *** *** It's a crooked and shifty way of doing business! I'll be going somewhere else for my next mid-sized SUV since the RAVhas basically become a piece of *** anyway and Southpointe Toyota doesn't care about their return customers

I signed a lease agreement with other dealer which gave me much better deal instead a showroom modelI requested a deposit refund which they refused
I got a referral to this dealership to purchase my new tundraThe sales person jamil was nice, talked down from the trim what I was looking for, and put me on a showroom higher modelSo far is not a problemI was asking jamil to confirmed that $deposit is refundableThey have their own print of contract( after they called bill of sale), which is not a legal documentI was waiting for approvalDuring that time my friend was going there for service, sales jamil was gave him a good news that I purchased that specific vehicleAll of that without my consent or knowledge
During the days credit check, I was visited more dealerships to shop around, just make sure I had a good deal with this dealerBoth of them gave me way lower price for the identical vehicle, without knowing what price to matchI was ended up to sign with

Complaint regarding vehicle purchase contract discrepancy on the contract we had initially, changed to much higher price without informing us
I would like to bring to your attention an unexpected turn of events that occurred on April 21st, when I arrived at your dealership to collect our Blue Sienna LEOur first visit to see the vehicle was on April 16, Monday eveningWe met Dennis ***, who was our product advisor and after having a look at the vehicle we decided to sit down to talk about the various finance options with Ryan *** the Finance ManagerWe had discussed a payment plan at a fixed rate of $monthly for months with $as advance payment, which I paid with my debit cardThe above amounts were agreed upon including under coatingLike to bring to your attention I haven't received the receipt for that paymentRyan took details of my driver's license and all necessary details for finance approvalBefore leaving, Ryan said he would send the a

My brother brought the car to your dealership for service May He was given a rental car to drive home and was told he will get a phone call when it's ready11AM May someone in service dept called and said the car was ready since yesterday and we had the rental car for over hours since *** called us at 10:07AM yesterday, so we have to pay $We checked the call history and spoke with *** and they confirmed in writing (which I sent to Service Manager *** ***) there was no incoming/outgoing calls until 7pm May
My brother went back to your dealershipI spoke with ***She tried to prove she called by opening up her call logI insisted that she can check the device herself and I can get *** to confirmShe cried and hang up on meI escalated the issue to *** *** by speaking with him over the phone and forwarding to him the email from ***
He called me back saying he just called *** and confirm that if the phone call goes into voicemail it

After sales service is absolutely the worst experience I have encountered with any businessAvoid this dealershipToyota is a good productJust don't buy it from South pointe Toyota!

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP, UNLESS YOU HAVE A LAWYER PRESENT TO ENSURE WHAT THE SALE PEOPLE TELL YOU WILL IN FACT HOLD UP IN THE FUTURE!
This is my story, I bought a brand new Toyota Matrix from this dealership approximately years agoThe vehicle itself is awesome and I have zero complaints, I will always stand by the quality of Toyota vehicles; however I cannot say the same about the integrity of the sales people
When I was purchasing the vehicle one of the major motivating factors for me to purchase a new one over a used was the warranty off and the "free oil changes for life"While the salesperson explained to us in detail that during the warranty period the car must follow the maintenance schedule as set out by Toyota and be serviced by their techniciansWe hesitantly agreed as my husband is a mechanic and can easily perform all said maintenance himself, but we followed their rules to a T, and there was no problems on either sideHowever at no time did the salesperson let us know that this was the condition for the "oil change for life" offer as well
Fast forward to April 2018, our warranty was up so my husband started to do maintenance himself but we brought the vehicle in for our "free oil change" at this time we were informed that actually the "fee oil changes for life" deal is only valid as long as you do all your maintenance through them, so basically we can no longer receive free oil changesI was very upset and the girl who was working service waived the fee and stated that she would speak to her manager about this as she has heard of people having issues with this promotion before
Then we bring the vehicle in for its next oil change this morning, and are told once again we must pay for the oil change, serious lack of communication I thought but no big dealSo I called to speak to the manager on duty who name is MikeHe informed me that it was printed in the contract I signed (this maintenance caveat) and that anything my salesperson told me was hearsay since it was years agoI felt belittled by this comment as my word as a customer should not be referred to as hearsay in my opinion
To sum up the story, I feel I was tricked by my salesperson, and that this specific dealership has no integrityI highly suggest doing business anywhere else, or like I said in the beginning bring a lawyer, because nobody who works here has your best interests at heart
