S & S Auto Sales Inc has received the complaint from [redacted] and would like the opportunity to respondThis customer purchased a vehicle on 04/08/with the promise to pay another $on 4/23/& another $on 5/08/ The payment as agreed on the legal binding contract was never made .The car went out for repossession on 05/01/and was then taken by the repossession company on 5/3/There is no refund due to this customer

I am rejecting this response because: I called and brought the car in and was going to leave it with the keys , I was told it was okay but I was better off getting what was wrong with it fixed , I tried a few mechanics they can't seem to find what the problem was , I believe there was issues with the car before hand , in your reviews , this happens to be the biggest issue known for Stockton cars bought at s & s I feel I shouldn't have this whole situation put on myself

S & S Auto Sales Inc has received the above complaint and appreciates the opportunity to respond [redacted] purchased the vehicle on 10/24/with the promise to pay her deferred down payment of $on or before 11/23/and her first car payment due on 12/08/ [redacted] did indeed make a $partial payment on 11/20/but this payment did not secure her loan and when her first payment was not paid either on 12/08/the vehicle was put out for repossessionWe tried calling and also sent mail to the customer as early as 11/1/to go over the loan and we never got a response or any returned mailThe repossession took place on 12/19/in which the Manteca Police had to be called because a male subject came out of the customers house with a screw driver and stabbed the tow truck drivers tireCustomer is responsible for all fees associated with this repossession In order to pick up the vehicle the amount would be $+ $a day storage feesPlease let us know if you have any questions

The warranty ran out two weeks before the first breakdown

S & S Auto Sales provides a 30 day/1,000 mile warranty to all of our customers which I have attached the copy of our limited warranty which was signed by [redacted] on 10/27/15. S & S Auto will take care of any problems a vehicle has within the first thirty days. The Chevy Equinox was purchased on 10/27/15 with 104,070 miles on it and was taken as a trade in on 02/23/16 with 107,250 miles on the vehicle. The vehicle was outside of warranty guidelines and as her contact states there is no cooling off period and the vehicle cannot be returned. As a courtesy, we offered [redacted] a $7,000 credit for her Equinox which she used to purchase a new vehicle which we agreed to carry the loan in house for the amount of $1867.51 which was due in 18 months.The credit was not a factor in this deal as we carried the loan in house as a buy here pay here and are not submitting it for outside financing.At this time, no refund is due.

S & S is no longer liable for any damages/work to be done to this vehicle. All work is the customers responsibility. I have attached a copy of the buyers guide that was signed 12/5/15 that states customer understands we only take care of repairs during the warranty period. S & S Auto Sales Inc repossessed the car for non paymentThe customer is responsible for all fees associated with this repossession along with any stipulations that our billing office would require. As stated on the signed contract, if a vehicle is repossessed, you may be able to redeem the vehicle by paying all you owe in a full balance or the dealer could give you the amount they would accept and what action would need to be taken to redeem the vehicle*** chose not to redeem her vehicle and no refund is warranted

In reference to the above ID, the customer did in fact purchase this vehicle from my business. And, unfortunately, the vehicle did encounter a 4WD problem shortly after the customer took possession. The vehicle was promptly brought into our shop and diagnosed with a problem with the rear
differential. Our business ordered the replacement part and days later received a part that was not compatible with the vehicle. We promptly contacted the vendor and requested a replacement. Upon its arrival, the part was installed the same day. This vehicle was sold with a warranty and the repair was covered. Additionally, in an attempt to provide superior service, the deductible for the warranted repair was waivedUpon purchase of the vehicle, which was listed at $and held a Kelly Blue Book suggested retail value of $11,627.00, the customer noted that the vehicle may be in need of brakes and rotors. The customer stated he would be willing to perform this repair if he could purchase the vehicle at a reduced cost. A sales price of $was agreed upon which included a power train warranty. This is $below Blue Book and nearly $below the original asking price with disregard to the cost of the warranty. In addition to selling this vehicle substantially below its market value, our dealership agreed to accept a down payment and carry the note for the remaining balanceI have also attempted to contact the customer and have left a voice mail which has been unreturned at this timeThe customer has expressed interest in another vehicle at our dealership and we have stated we would like to discuss the possibility of trading in the vehicle he originally purchased for another modelAdditionally, the customer stated the sales price was $8000. This is not true. The sales price was $7200, which is documented. In fact the customer has only paid $to date, and owes a balance of $2625, which includes tax*** *** S&S Performance Pre Owned Automobiles

I am rejecting this response because: not only did the salesman *** knowingly allowed me to drive off in the vehicle with no insurance but as because once they repo the vehicle they tried to make it as difficult as possible for me to get it backI continued to contact them over 10xs the day the vehicle was repo to not get one response until the next afternoon,t ham get told I needed to contact a different department, and to no surprise that department didn't a nswer or call back until the next day after business hoursThey wanted me to not be able to get this vehicle back! I was told I needed to pay the past due balance of $Plus the not even due yet bill of $PLUS another bill that was due for a whole month of $plus the repo fee and daily fee they were adding up, it came out to close to $S & S auto sales are crooks*** had me test drive a vehicle that had just came in from a repoI feel I should be refunded

Complaint Detail:I bought a car from s & s auto and I didn't have it for that long , after a little while I started to have minor issues , maintenance here and there to keep up with the car , I than started

I have attached a copy of [redacted]'s vehicle contract that states her deferred down payment of $250.00 was to be made on 3/24/15.
Due to the breach of contract, the car was repossessed.
In the case that...

[redacted] is able to get financing through a bank, she will be able to get her car back but S & S Auto Sales will no longer hold the loan at our location.
