Review: We went thru a kiosk at Costco and eventually received a call from [redacted] at S&G Carpet & More. S&G failed to complete promised and timely service of wood floors. They breached their contract when they said they could not remove and reinstall the hand rail in the "sunken living room", I was later told that the sales person should never have said that. The stair nose under the rail was never replaced. It was a huge mess and on top of that, the new floors were left scratched, with dirty boot prints EVERYWHERE, and fireplace cement dust everywhere in my remodeled home. They finally offered to pay us something for cleaning. The manager [redacted] encouraged us to mitigate damages and to best fix the huge hole left at the stair nose entrance. He said to get the old stair nose out of the garbage and repaint it. He promised to reimburse us the cost of $100. S&G also failed to respond to phone calls and emails until I went to Costco. S&G was contracted to install wood flooring in my entire downstairs, except the living room. (That remained carpet, thank God!) Anyway, BEWARE, we went thru a kiosk at Costco and eventually received a call from [redacted]. They are nice people, but the customer service is just not there. For the thousands and thousands of dollars we paid, we expected top notch service. They fail badly because they admit they are too busy to call customers back. This is a short condensed version of what I went through.Desired Settlement: S&G was a huge failure to complete promised and timely service of wood floor installation. It took months for them to finally fix all of their mistakes. I was promised to be reimbursed $100 that we paid to have the old stair nose that they had me take out of the garbage to use with the new floors; we had it sanded, painted & glazed to be reinstalled. Their stair nose was the wrong size and left a huge ugly gap. Anyway, they took the receipts and never reimbursed me the $100. I want my $100.00!
