Upon check out at the Bacara Resort and Spa, I flagged two pending charges ($& $791) that hadn't come off my credit cardConcierge told me not to worry and printed me a receipt for what I would be charged ($353) About a week after I checked my credit card and the pending charges of $and $had gone throughI contacted The Bacara and left a voicemail on Monday, September I also sent an email the following dayOn Thursday, September I finally got a hold of the accounting team and a gentleman named Tucker said he would be my point of contact and get back to me right awayI have not heard back via email or mobile since last week

This business ruined two sweaters that were over $120 each. When asked for a refund and compensation for this, very apparent mistake on their part, they refused to give me the price of the ruined items and then became extremely argumentative with me. The owners took no responsibility and tried to blame it on their employees. They did offer to dry clean my sweaters again, however they were already ruined. I had even asked where the former employee, [redacted], had gone and they said they had no idea and I had to use this business now, as she was no longer around. You just don't give someone one hundred and twenty dollars with out knowing if we're actually responsible for the damage, due to we get hundreds of items a week. My husband and I as owners tried reasoning with her and offered to dry clean her sweater again she refuse to work with us and began to offend my business, she then started to threaten us by saying her boyfriend was an attorney and that If we didn't give her 120 dollars she was going to get the Revdex.com involved, then also accused me of lying to her about knowing [redacted], who Is [redacted]? I do not know who she is I've never met her and I have never been in contact with her, all that I know is That the previous owners were Top Hat and had filed for bankruptcy that is it. I took in a [redacted] Men's suit size 42 L for alteration and dry cleaning around July 7th 2015.The item has not been returned to me yet. I think it is lost or damage. I get excuses on when it will be ready, to the point that I demanded the item returned to me and they did not have it and still making excuses. below are extracts of the certified letter I sent Royal Cleaners:On Wednesday July 1st 2015 I called your business Royal Cleaners located at 1205 California Avenue in Reno Nevada 89509 to inquire about the cost of alteration on a Blue pinstripe [redacted] mens suit size 42 L. The work consisted in replacing the lining in the sleeves areas and dry cleaning the item. The person on the phone [redacted] quoted me a price of $13.00 per sleeve plus dry cleaning at $6.95. The turn around time was estimated at one week.On or about July 7th 2015, I dropped off the item at your location 1205 California avenue Reno Nv 89509 for repair and dry cleaning.On or around July 22nd 2015, I stopped by to inquire about the progress on the work. [redacted] said that they were working on it and that she will call me when the work was done.On or around July 30th, I stopped by to inquire about the progress on the work. [redacted] said that they were working on it and that she will call me when the work was done.On or around August 14th 2015 I stopped by to inquire about the progress on the work. [redacted] said that the alterations were done and that she will dry clean it the next day and call me for pick-up.On or around August 21nd 2015 I stopped by to inquire about the progress on the work.[redacted] said that the alteration that were performed came apart during the dry cleaning process and that it will have to be repaired. I told her that the time well excided was she had quoted me and that I would like to have my garnment returned so that I could have the the job done somewhere else.She said that the item was not there.The alteration lady was not in and had taken the item with her. I told her to have the item for me to pick up the next morning Saturday August 22nd, around 8:30 am. She agreed.On the next morning when I stopped by, [redacted] informed me that the alteration lady was running late and that she will call when she will come in so that I could pick up my garment.As of today 08-25-2015, I have not heard from [redacted] or anyone at Royal CleanersI purchased this item a cost of $745.00 At Macys men store in Sacramento, California.Product_Or_Service: [redacted] Pinstripe Men's SuitDesired SettlementI would like to give you the following options:1.Return the item as promised by your services at similar or improved conditions as when dropped off on, or about July 7th 2015 within 5 business days upon reception of this letter.2.Reimburse me the sum of $745.00 in cash within 5 business days upon reception of this letter.Final Consumer Response

Review: I brought my husband's pants to get dry cleaned on 09/**/2013. They didn't have any stains or markings on them. They got delivered to me the same night with a huge black stain on the right side. The owner agreed that it wasn't there before but he doesn't want to take responsibility for it. He tried to remove it which was impossible. I spoke to the independent person who worked for many years in the dry clean business and he told me that it wasn't a real stain but that the pants were burnt by applying the press too hard during the dry clean processing. The business refuses to reimburse me for the price of the pants.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed the price of the pants. I can provide the receipt from the purchase. It's Ralph Lauren Black Label pants.
