ROI Improvements Reviews (43)

We have been in our home for 25 years, and hired ROI Improvements do a complete bathroom remodel. We had some ideas but did not know exactly what we wanted. All of their workers were courteous and professional. They answered our questions, and offered suggestions when we weren't sure about something. While the project was finished after the projected completion date, the finished bathroom is absolutely beautiful. It is more than we had even hoped for.

I'm from Dallas Texas, and ROI has been helping my family with their new roofing restoration branch in the Dfw metro! Such an amazing crew. Got my aunt, and grandma new roofs !! They will fight for what you deserve

They(ROI) cashed my $10,000 check on the day they lost their license. They still owe me $10,000 and they have not made any attempt to contact...

me. Now they owe 4.5 interest from the April date the check was written as well.

Avoid this company like the plague. I am so sorry I went with this company for granite countertops. Installers showed up with a slab that was 8" short. Discovering this after they tore up my kitchen and disconnected the water. Called the salesperson John Nearhouse to let him know what was going on. He said he would find out and call me back. That was 4 days ago. No return calls after repeatedly calling him and the company. I have no water in kitchen, it's torn up with plywood across where granite is supposed to be. Had to cancel a family get together (dinner on Sunday) because of no kitchen. From where I'm sitting right now, this company is a scam. At the VERY LEAST someone could call me back but NO.

I am coordinating with Leeann-she is our accountant- to work with [redacted] to get their refund. I apologize as I didn't know they wanted to cancel the project until yesterday, However, since materials have already been ordered there is a 30% restocking fee.

Thank you

An older man representing ROI Improvements, LLC presented me with his business card and spent 20 minutes examining my house. He quoted me $8,942 to paint my two story house in the South Mountain area of Phoenix. He wanted half the money up front. When I Googled what a reasonable paint job should cost, I discovered it should be somewhere between $1,700 and $3,500. When I told this story to a reputable painting service in Phoenix, AZ, they laughed and said this quote was highly unreasonable. They quoted me $1,880 for the same job using high quality products and a 7 year warranty. They do not want any money up front. I strongly suspect that ROI Improvements, LLC is dishonest and unethical. They are taking advantage of gullible homeowners. The fact that they want half the money up front is suspicious to me. Who is to say they won't just take the money and disappear? However, their business cards and marketing material looked highly professional and was quite impressive.

ROI Improvements, LLC installed the most beautiful floors in my home about a year ago. I just sold my home and I believe it was the floors that sold it. The company worked with me and allowed me to improve my home greatly. I would use them again for all my home improvements.

Had a good experience with ROI. House needed new stucco and paint job, had a planter removed. Very happy with the way the house turned out. Had a concern regarding finances in the beginning and ROI handled it in a professional manner and fixed the situation. That was just as impressive as the work performed on the house. Hope to use them in the future.

This project was completed prior to me coming on as the project manager, So at this this time I can not directly comment on the project.We have reached out to the customer to address the listed complaints. We are currently scheduled to come out on February 23 to correct all...

ROI Improvements came to my home to give me an estimate on painting the outside of my house. They were courteous, professional, prompt, and even worked with my homeowners association for me. The job was done in a timely manner and looks wonderful. The price was reasonable and we plan on using them again in future improvements.

My wife and I would like to thank ROI for doing such a beautiful job on our kitchen granite counter tops. Although it took a little longer than we thought the end result was perfect. The fabricator did a beautiful job of matching the pattern in the granite. The slabs had some unusual lines that we wanted to match together, and they did. The installers were craftsmen, worked well together and made sure I inspected every bit of the job and approved it all. We want thank the whole crew at ROI for a great job and and look forward to many more projects with them.

We had a handicap bathroom remodel and external paint done to our house. ROI came in at an average price but with an ambitious completion date. The sales person said everything measured out standard and things should be completed within 10 calendar days. I took this with a grain of salt but decided to go with them. Order service: April 7, 2014; Estimated completion date: April 17, 2014;
The general contractor came out a few days later and pushed the timetable. He said the paint would need a week to come from Florida as it was a special order. Two days after that they demolished the bathroom and did some partial exterior trim work replacement. The work they did was quick and they cleaned up their mess fairly well. April 10, 2014
Then things went down hill. I had to call for updates. I waited weeks with a demolished bathroom and empty promises. At one point the general contractor said that they would be out within two days (May 19, 2014) to begin the bathroom as they were picking up the materials today. I asked a status of the paint and he said they would have the paint person out as well. (No phone calls made or returned after May 19, 2014 from the sales person, the general contractor or the office. Also left web message with no response.)
The painting coordinator came out to re-measure the house and do color selections (May 10, 2014). They had yet to order the paint. After weeks of waiting, they still had not ordered the paint that would take week to get here. After discussing this with the paint coordinator and the status of our bathroom things took a turn for the better. It was at this point I told the paint coordinator that I was thinking of legal action.
After the paint was ordered, the exterior painting team came out and properly prepared the house for paint. They did a quick and thorough job. The paint arrived shortly afterwards and the painting went quick. The paint crew even repaired some of the trim themselves after waiting an inexcusable amount of time for internal ROI carpenters to finish the job they were supposed to do. (Paint completion was May 27, 2014)
Essentially the painting coordinator was a God send. He, Jose, also ended up coordinating the completion of the bathroom remodel. I told him it should be fairly quick as all the materials are sitting in the ROI shop. The painting coordinator could not find the materials because they were never ordered. After a minor delay it was decided that they would do a custom tile enclosure as it would be quicker than waiting for the custom shower floor plan and stall. (Remember, it was sold to us as a standard enclosure should be in and out in days.)
Well the paint coordinator did right by us. He ensured that the shower was accessible and was water proofed. He went above and beyond, coming in on weekends to get it turned around. He ensured that we were happy with the tile and paint selections as well.
The bathroom and paint look spectacular. I am pleased with the job they did, once the paint coordinator, Jose, took over our project. Jose managed it as I would expect any remodeling project to be, keeping us informed the entire time. (June 17, 2014)
TLDR;
job completion 2 months after estimate.
ROI salesperson timetables are worthless. Paint Coordinator should be promoted and become a general contractor along with the current one. Request the paint coordinator to manage your project!

Well, I paid half to get my bathroom vanity, sink and painting redone over a month ago.

Notification was sent to all customers regarding ROI's suspension of the business license. Refunds are still in the process of being scheduled out.

We had a horrible experience with them. It would appear they hire the cheapest labor they can regardless of the quality of work they do.. When you use these guys make sure you get a detailed quote and make them commit to a finish date or pay a penalty. Also, make they give you references and then go see the work. They promised us 6 weeks and weren't even half way done at that time. The workman ship and design were terrible. We are actually having the work demoed and redone the right way. I could kick myself using these guys the red flags were there and I ignored them.

Better Business...

Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  If the business does, indeed, issue a credit to me within a week as they say they will, I will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

Since those windows were ready to be picked up by the middle of April and have not yet been picked up, many promises were broken, and since this was initiated in March, I do not want the windows installed.  I have no guarantee that they would show up to install the windows since ROI doesn't seem to be capable of even returning a phone call and had lost the paperwork.  Their workmanship also seems to be shoddy according to other complaints.  I just want them to clear the [redacted] account of any charges.  [redacted] Credit also has another complaint against ROI that they are working on.  All the signs point to this company not being reputable.  Proposal is therefore rejected.

Theresa has been in communications with the customer. We will issue a refund to the customer. Theresa to follow up with a re-payment plan and schedule

I got the entry door I've been wanting for a while now! I'm very pleased with the efficiency it was installed and the matching colors of the door with my house trim. It's wonderful to look at.

We already have their windows made and ready for pick up Alumi-Cover. We are currently waiting for them to unlock our account for them to release their windows. I have their job assigned to Ray and he is waiting for materials and ready to install at a moments notice. Thank...

you, Ashley
