I had five windows installed through this companyAfter completion of in the installation of the trim early August I decided to pay the rest of the contract ticket priceThe company River City Glass still had to install tempered glass window bottoms on my single pane windowsAfter they came back to do that portion of the job my (now) windows won't stay up and fall to the bottomI am told after calling three separate times that all it takes to fix the issue is new heavier duty balancers/spacersThey won't follow up with meI keep contacting them to try and get them to bring the parts to install on these windows as they stated necessary for the new heavier tempered glass, but they never contact me to follow up on the part order nor actually have ordered the parts yet and it has been two monthsThey are not dealing with my issue in a timely manner because they have all the contract moneyOne of the associates even laughed at the situation because it was such a simple fix, but yet
In late November 2017, I ordered a sliding glass door and two windows for part of a larger job from Kyle D*** at River City Glass After several back and forth exchanges, the original order on the phone and everything else on email, the order was placed, payment made and windows picked up for install The sliding glass door was a different size than what I had ordered, however, I did not catch this on my quote I own that I ordered a 72" x 80" door and my quote came back at 6' x 6'10" I didn't catch that At least 50% my fault However, I do know with 100% certainty that I ordered 72" x 80" because I was ordering off of the plansMoving on, though, my concern is not this issue, but that whe confronted about the possible mistake by my business partner and husband, Kyle (who did not know he was my husband) referred to me in front of staff at the store, customers and others as a 'dumb f&' He then felt it necessary to email me and let me know that my business partner/h

It all started with the unbelievably rude front counter person.
I dropped off a window to be repaired. Thermopane window in a 20 year old, plastic frame. It has been missing the trim plastic on the inside for at least 5 years. The missing trim was commented upon and I asked them to replace it if possible.
It was supposed to be ready in a week. A week later, she called to ask if I had picked it up. Seems someone walked off with a window and she thought it might be me. Took over two weeks to get mine back.
Installed the window in the house and a week later, the glass fell out of the frame. Took it back and left it again. 10 days later, she called and told me the glass was in and I could bring my frame in. I reminded her they had my frame. She said she would check and call me back. Never called me back. Four days later, I went in to see what was happening and the window was ready to pick up.
Now, they wanted to charge me another $80 for fixing their crappy repair job. The receptionist even lied to my face and said I had "agreed to the price" when I dropped the frame off the second time. Since I figured it was a warranty repair, I certainly did no such thing. They finally agreed to split it with me.
Got the window home and the silicone they had used, instead of the trim pieces, was still wet and got all over when I tried to install the window.
When a company does a bad repair and then charges you for the warranty repair, there is something very wrong. Additionally, if the trim is essential to keep the glass in, then this should have been made clear from the outset.
In addition to taking almost a month and a half to get my window fixed, they did a poor job, charged me for their mistake, and I got stuck with a high heat bill for having a window out, and had to clean up their glass mess when the window fell apart.
I doubt it is possible there is a worse glass shop in Spokane. I would recommend finding ANY other place to get your windows fixed. They might quote you a price that is slightly lower than other places but it was far more expensive in time, effort, gas, and stress.
