This business sent out advertising fliers, two stuffed in my mailbox at the same time. There was no delivery address on the cards, so no address to remove from the mailing list! At first I thought it was illegal use of a post office mailbox, stuffing items without an address. But I saw a bulk postage mark. However, this is a bulk "mailing", or "cramming" without even having to address the "sent" items. ///
Worse, I called the number on the advertisement. The receptionist said that the manager was gone for the day, but took my phone and said that he would get back to me the next day. That is a week ago and they have never, ever, ever, not ever contacted me, showed on my call logs, or left me voicemail about stopping the mailings. This is good reason to consider it an unresponsive business. ///
I would have left a review instead of a complaint, but the Revdex.com site did not provide me a field to do that, since it could not find the business. ///
I have been successfully stopping junk mail from being placed in my mailbox, but that cannot be done when it is not addressed in the first place. I wish to stop being sent this unwanted mail.
We received this complaint and wish to address it at this time as we certainly do not wish to put a burden on people. Our intention in sending our mailers was to help people become more aware of our business. The *** offers an option to send mailings through a program they call "Every Day Direct Mail," which utilizes mailing routes. The routes deliver an item to each address on the selected route. We understand that not every person who receives the mailers from all participants in this marketing program will find the items applicable and expect that those people will most likely put the advertisement in the trash. We apologize that the *** does not have a better system to allow you to be excluded from these marketing programs. It might be worth speaking to the *** to see if there is anything they are able to do simplify their system. The post carrier is only supposed to put one (1) card per box, I apologize again as it appears they placed two (2) in your box, they are not supposed to do that. I hope this information is helpful. Thank you, Brandon R.
