[redacted] was hired as our bankruptcy attorney. He quoted us an amount that it would cost to get the bankrutcy complete. We signed a contract and paid him the amount in full. We have had to have multi modifications done to the plan, without any notification from [redacted] that we needed to have some more money for it. The last modification that needed to be done, he said he would need some more money to complete it. I talked if over with my wife and she said no, that we have paid him enough. I emailed [redacted] letting him know are concerns with this whole bankruptcy and that we were not going to pay him anymore money. [redacted] sent me an email that if we dismiss him by the date and time that he quoted, that we would be owing nothing. So that is what my wife and I decided to do. We dismissed him via email from the case. We then received a bill from him for $4000.00 plus in the mail. He never in the whole time he was our attorney asked for us to sign a new contract nor did he ever tell us that he needed more money. We never received any bills from him except the bill for $4000.00 plus. Now he also sent us an email stating that he will file an Application with the Court and he quoted in his email "it would very likely render your Plan impossible". Which means we would loose everything. We would like your help in this matter. It is not fair to drop a bill of $4000.00 plus, and then threating us by filing an Application with the Court, seeing we were never made aware of such a bill, and we never signed a contract that we agreed to this.
