I am rejecting this response because: I think that the issue at hand is being missed! Yes I brought the truck their in December to the service department, the truck died while at the service department the gentlemen told me he would have to charge me over $an hour to look at the truck and that I would have to pay for several hours due to him not having the electrical schematics to diagnose the truckTelling me that their was an electrical problem with the truckI left their thinking oh no how am I going to afford right at Christmas to have the electric in the truck fixedThe service tech did not test my battery he did nothing but send me on my wayI am not a mechanic I did not know that changing the battery would get the truck to start until I could afford to pay a machanic to look at vehicle & change the battery for meafter changing the battery the lights are still flickering on the side mirrors there is still a loud clicking sound in the dashboard and the vents for the heat and or air only work at your feet I cannot defrost the windows and it's the worse time with the crazy weather we have been havingI understand that the warranty was up but it only ended October 31,this all happened the beginning of December I did not buy the vehicle months ago if I bought the vehicle October 31, it's only January If I brought the truck to them the first week in December then that was months and a week maybe two weeks I've only had the vehicle now a little over and a half months am I missing something? That is why I am most upset they are saying things that are untrue this was my first time financing a vehicle I originally was extremely happy with their service and I am sad that it came to this I didn't do it cause I'm mean or vengeful I did it because I owe more than the truck is even worth at this point I have never received an type of notification stating it was time for any type of service on the truck like oil changes or to check the fluids at all which I also read was part of their agreementHonestly if I hadn't become so in love with the truck and I wasn't scared at this point having issues with my fiancé and her credit I would just inquire about exchanging it or returning it! I do want this issue resolved also but I do not want my words twisted or things incorrectly stated eitherAs stated in Toyota Worlds email that I waited weeks I didn't wait weeks by choice I waited weeks and was out of work thinking that it was electricalal and need to have money to pay a mechanic to look at the truck, twisting what I stated doesn't make the situation any betterNow we have brought them the truck today 1/17/around noon they did give me a loaner vehicle which is a Toyota Corolla and as long they are only diagnosing the truck I am out of workI did not hear back from them today with any diagnosis but the question is are they only diagnosising the problems and if they are going to charge me, what are they going to charge me?

Good afternoon, I am sending this response to follow up with the message I have leftWe have contacted *** *** on 09JANand spoke to him in regards to his issueWe learned that *** *** was here early to mid December to check out the mirrors and headlamps blinking and was advised that the
warranty that he purchased did not cover those issuesHe was advised that there would be a fee for a technician to diagnose the issueUpon researching the warranty that he purchased, we found a menu that he selected a year/mile powertrain warranty with his loan as oppose to purchasing a comprehensive warrantyWe also learned that he had a dead battery which caused his vehicle to stallThe dead battery was what made his vehicle not be able to use his truck for the weeks that he claimed in his complaintThe client replaced his battery and the vehicle was driveableOn the conversation that both myself and the service director had with him on the 9th of this month, we offered him to drive the vehicle down to us for a diagnosis and we provided *** *** with a loaner car to use, free of chargeI would like to discuss this matter further as well as provide you with the documents that *** *** signed when he purchased his vehicleThank you, Mark EF*, SrGeneral Manager Toyota World of Lakewood ***

I wanted to acknowledge that I received the response to our rebuttal and provide you with an update. [redacted] dropped his vehicle off for us to do a courtesy, no charge, diagnostic scan and we provided him with a loaner vehicle at no charge. We advised [redacted] of what the vehicle would need as well as we offered him a 25% discount on all the parts and labor to assist on the fiscal burden. [redacted] advised us that he was going to check elsewhere and took his vehicle back. Please advise me on how we should proceed from here? Look forward to speaking with you.
