Rev-Arms Reviews (19)

We lost around $1700 to rev arms. We want to take action against the company. Please contact me. If we get people together something could be done to them. Email: [email protected]

In 2016 I had a repair done on a 300 blk upper I had bought in 2015, and they sent it back without the TiNi BCG I paid $295 for. I called them several times and had exchanged emails several times, and was promised over several months it would be shipped out. I guess I won't see that - ever?

Dave and anyone interested in getting their money. If you could send me a email. I don't really want to put my phone number out here but my email is [email protected]. We can communicate and make contact and get the ball rolling. This company has frauded so many people out of money it is ridiculous.

Same problem. My friend and I bought a total of four rifles at the April 2016 Chantilly Show. Paid in full and never got the rifles. We would be on board for a lawsuit. Please let me know.

I have numerous emails from them with lots of promises and they never came through.

I can help with contact info maybe numbers

Ok sounds good I can definitely do that. I'm just trying to get my money back. This is unsat for any company

I ordered a custom Ar10 in April of 2016 paid in full 3600.20 I have my receipts. Every time I went to the business to check on the gun there was a problem. The website is gone and phone number on the door is out of service. I don't live that far from there store. I haven't gotten the gun. Lawsuit sound like a good idea. I paid some in cash and the other with a business check.

I can get you contact info but you have to leave my name out

I have had the same problem the other post on this page have had. First I was told my 300 blackout upper would be complete in 3-4 weeks. 6 weeks in a gave Rev Arms a call. Said they where having problems getting parts week after week this went on for over 3 months. Now no response and will not return my calls. I happen to be close to Danville VA where their office is. Is locked up tight and gone. They turned off their phones, turned of their Facebook and no longer have a website. At this time I'm looking into a class action lawsuit. If anyone is interested

Are you still doing the lawsuit? Anything come out of it? I got ripped off too and would like to take action against rev arms.

I can help with info!

I'm interested. I ordered a rifle in July 2016 after meeting them at a gun show in Hampton VA, never got it. I have an invoice they emailed me. I didn't dog them about it because they told me up front it would take a while for the TiN BCG I ordered for it. Found them at another gun show in Sept. and they told me they had a problem with the shop they send it out to for coating (before they told me they make everything in-house) and switched to a new shop and type of coating as a result, but mine would be in the last TiN batch. That was the last I heard, until I went looking for their website just before new year because I was going to stop by their shop as I passed by near Danville. Much to my surprise, website gone and phone numbers disconnected. Almost no trace of them left on the internet.

It took me a while to find these reviews/posts, perhaps we should start a thread on AR-15.com or something to try to get some more attention?

I'm going to meet with a lawyer this week and try to get the ball rolling. I was a it for not gathering more names of people with complaint that had posted reviews to REV Arms Facebook before they took it down. I feel like that's one of the reasons that they took it down because so many people including myself was trying to contact them via Facebook and bashing them on there. Any ideas on a way for all of us that have been wrongfully done to get and stay in contact?

I'm interested

I'm interested

I am having almost the exact same problem as described above except I actually have a receipt. I met with the Rev-Arms folks at the Hampton Roads gun show in the summer of 2016. I subsequently purchase a special build AR-15 in July 2016 and paid the full price in advance assuming that the rifle would be available by September (or October 2016 at the latest). It is now December 2016 and I have sent a number of e-mails and made a number of telephone calls to virtually everyone in the company - no response. All I really wanted to know was when (as I don't have an urgent need for the AR15 now that Hillary is out of the picture for the presidency). Consumer relations is poor to non-existent and I am quite concerned that I am simply out the money. I have suggested that they return my money if they cannot perform but am willing to hang on a bit if there is a reasonable response. At this point, my patience has run quite thin and I am considering other options.

Review: I purchased an AR-15 style rifle upper from [redacted], a co-owner of Rev-Arms, at a CE Gun Show in [redacted] . I spent $800 in cash on the upper assembly I purchased. No receipt for the sale was furnished; I was told it was a "cost saving measure"

I then made another purchase for $350 over the phone from [redacted], another co-owner, for a billet upper and a matching billet lower. Once again, no receipt for the purchase. I sent the upper I purchased to Rev-Arms on Monday, November 3, 2015 and they confirmed delivery on Wednesday, November 5, 2015. As part of the purchase of the billet upper and billet lower, Rev-Arms was to swap the forged upper for the billet upper and mate it to a matched billet lower. I provided the FFL number of my local gun shop for delivery.

I though little of the lack of receipts because of the "Christan and faith based organization" sales pitch.

After two weeks and no call from my local FFL, I called Rev-Arms. They told me they had a problem with their supplier and I would have to wait another two weeks. Two more weeks passed and I called again; once again, I was told I had to wait another two weeks. I have also sent several emails to Rev-Arms directly to [redacted] and [redacted] as well as through their general "contact" dialog box on their webpage. I have never received a response since the telephone purchase.

They have become totally non-responsive and I get canned answered. They took my money easily enough, but they will not deliver what I purchased. Because they are not responding to me I have to assume that they have no intention of fulfilling their end of our agreement. They now have $1150 of my money and I do not have the product they sold me.

This was a cash and credit purchase; cash for the show purchase and credit for the billet upper and matching billet lower.Desired Settlement: I want the products they sold me in their sales pitch at the CE Gun Show in [redacted], which is what I believe I paid for and I want the upgraded parts I was sold and that I paid for over the phone and I want them delivered to my FFL by the end of January 2016. I have already been patiently waiting for two months.

I am afraid that due to no sales receipts for the either purchase and no longer having the physical product in hand, a financial return is not an option.

Business

Response:

We ran into a problem with our Hard Coat Anodizing provider which have put several peoples orders further out than we had anticipated. The parts in this complaint will be here by Thursday of this week and will ship out by the middle of next week. We apologize for the delay and are working hard to get the product into our customers hands. As far as the receipt, if the customer was not given a receipt, he should have been. It has never been company policy to not provide receipts due to cost saving.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
