I spoke with *** *** regarding her complaint today and we have resolved the matter. She will remain a Renters Rely Client and we will do everything in our power to make her a very satisfied customer. We also apologize for any inconvenience this matter may have caused

This letter is RE: Consumer Complaint #***In May of we signed up *** * ***
as a new rental search client. She was a
section client which meant it would be more time consuming to find her a
suitable place. We set up several
viewings but the client turned them down
for several different reasons but at
no fault of ours. Finally, on July 28th we set her up a viewing with *** *** the owner of *** *** ** Denver Co ***. Her viewing date was
set for Sunday July 30th at noon.
*** called me on my personal line while I was on vacation in Florida
on July 31st to tell me no one showed up to show her the unit but
that she talked to the owner and he told her he was in Jamaica because his wife
was ill. He then went on to tell her to
send him $and he would mail her the keys.
I immediately advised her not send anything as this sounded like a
scam. She called me back week later
and said that the police and the real owner made her leave the property because
she was trespassing. She had been
scammed. I again asked her why she would
wire money to a stranger with no contact at all and why did she fail to contact
section for an inspection, because an inspection would have let us all know
that this person was not the real owner.
Here at Renters Rely our customer is our number one priority. We try everything we can to ensure the safety
of our clients. So, we advise our
clients not to hand over funds until they have met with the owner, view the
property and read over a lease. We are
very sorry that she had to go through such a horrible incident. But we don’t feel like we are responsible
because once we were informed of the owner’s refusal to meet with her face to
face we knew something wasn’t right and advised her to let us continue to
