Mr [redacted] does not state a specific concern other than complaining that we patrol a parking lot for vehicles parked in unauthorized spaces If the threat of towing was no there, how would anyone ever be guaranteed a parking spot they should rightfully have? Why should anyone obey rules set forth by the Apartment complex? If everyone was as courteous as I'm sure Mr [redacted] is, there would not be a need for towing
After reviewing the pictures taken of the vehicle prior to being towed, it is determined the vehicle was close to a "Visitor's" space, but was not in one The pictures clearly show Ms [redacted] was parked space over from Visitor's Parking There is a sign to the right of her vehicle saying "VISITOR PARKING" with an arrow pointing to the right (away from her vehicle) Also, every visitor's space has a 12" tall stencil on the ground that says "VISITOR" which she did not park in (also shown in the photographs) If Ms [redacted] would like to see the pictures, she may contact my office and schedule a time with me to view them Sincerely, [redacted] Reliant Towing
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]
Mr [redacted] 's vehicle was towed from a parking lot that requires permits Inside this parking lot, there are "Reserved" spaces for "The Local" bar that are marked according to Texas law The towing signs that are posted at the entrance specifically state that you must have a permit to park here and the reserved spaces are for "The Local" bar If Mr [redacted] was visiting the bar, he should have parked in those spaces There was no deception in towing this vehicle, it was simply a lack of reading posted signs
In order to discuss any details regarding this tow, I need the following information:- Vehicle information (license plate would be preferred)- Apartment complex where the vehicle was towed- The date the vehicle was towedUnfortunately, there were no identifying characteristics in the complaint to reference Without this information, I am unable to locate or discuss any details
Unfortunately, at no point in the statement did he mention where the vehicle was towed from, any vehicle information, or any receipt numbers. I do not have the ability to look up a specific tow from a place that's next to the restaurant. Please give more information so I am able to give
a reasonable response
After reviewing the pictures taken of the vehicle prior to being towed, it is determined the vehicle was close to a "Visitor's" space, but was not in one. The pictures clearly show Ms*** was parked space over from Visitor's Parking. There is a sign to the right of her vehicle saying
"VISITOR PARKING" with an arrow pointing to the right (away from her vehicle). Also, every visitor's space has a 12" tall stencil on the ground that says "VISITOR" which she did not park in (also shown in the photographs). If Ms*** would like to see the pictures, she may contact my office and schedule a time with me to view them. Sincerely,*** ***Reliant Towing
In order to park on the property, you must have either a parking permit or you must park in "Visitor Parking". Unfortunately, Ms*** did not have a parking permit, and she did not park in "Visitor Parking". Her vehicle was towed in accordance with all State and local
laws. f

I am rejecting this response because: I understand that coupons are meant to attract business; however, there is no such exclusion listed on the coupon relating to only requested services. Plain and simple, a service was performed where upon I was the payee and, as the coupon currently reads, I should be able to present the coupon and have the business who chose to advertise the coupon accept it. Like I said in my initial report, the company can choose to amend the coupon if they wish to no longer accept a coupon for such services; however, as the coupon currently reads, there is no reason that I should have been denied and would constitute false advertising.

I apologize if simply telling someone something they don't want to hear is considered "rude", but I certainly did not intend to be "rude". A coupon is used by many different companies to attract business. This person did not call, request, or otherwise ask for or want our services. ...
He was towed because he parked incorrectly. This coupon is for people that want/need a tow and help give them a break on the price and entice them to call our company for their needs. No person has ever shopped around for a better deal to determine which parking lot to park illegally so they can pay to get their vehicle back.

The Person that replied is lieing. The owner of the Company lied in court today and there is multiple harassment charges. Including today. The Austin Police Department is currently looking for the driver that threw a rock at me from the Reliant Tow Truck.
