Review: I paid Ready to Rescue $75 dollars to confirm my place in the CPR class. I was given the address and class time. Upon arrival at the given location, it was not a ready to rescue event but a different company, who had no information about me or my payment and denied any affiliation with ready to rescue. I had no choice but to pay again as they were able to squeeze me in and I had already lost a 1/2 day pay to attend the class. I was unable to contact ready to rescue as all the telephone numbers listed were not working and no response from email. To summarize, I paid for a Ready to Rescue CPR class that did not take place.Desired Settlement: I would like Ready to Rescue to act professionally, honor their refund agreement and not to keep my hard earned money for a class they never gave.

Review: I paid [redacted] of Ready to Rescue $59 through Paypal for my BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification. We had an appointment in Irvine, for which he did not show up for. There was no prior notice that he wouldn't be there. He then emailed me and asked me to take the course online, which would then have to be followed up with hands-on training. I have completed the online portion, and he confirmed that he received my proof of completion. It's been over a week. I haven't heard from him. He hasn't responded to multiple emails. I have no idea what is going on and I need this to be done by March for my medical school.Desired Settlement: I want a refund if he is not going to reply to my emails. I paid for a class, expecting to be fully certified in a timely manner or at least, with some level of communication with the instructor. Instead, I am only half done and there is no telling when he will contact me to finish up

Review: members of a school organization paid to be CPR/BLS certified by [redacted] from ReadytoRescue. He said we should be receiving the CPR certification cards in the mail a week after the class is completed. We paid for the class ($35) via PayPal on EventBrite. However, when the cards were not received within 2 weeks, emails were sent to [redacted] only to have him say they will come later. When the cards were still not received, many emails sent to [redacted] were not replied back. Complaints sent to the company website, facebook, and email have not been responded to. [redacted] is avoiding our complaints and requests for a refund for the class. It has been at least 2 months.Desired Settlement: We wish to get a refund ($35) for the CPR class since we have not received our certification cards in the mail.

Review: I was a part of a a pre-health club at University of California, Irvine that participated in a CPR class from Ready to Rescue on April 14, 2014. After completion of certification, the instructor informed us that the CPR cards will be mailed home to us. He told us to contact him if we did not receive the cards shortly.

I am submitting this report on July 15,2014--it has been over 3 months since the class. There has been no way to successfully contact anyone from the company website. I have sent out 2 emails a month ago, and both have been unanswered. The phone numbers are no longer in service. When another student tried to directly contact the instructor via Facebook, he immediately blocked her. I read angry reviews on Yelp with unsatisfied customers being scammed as well, and one has provided contact numbers for the instructor. I called him June 30, 2014 and gave him my address, email, phone #. He promised to send out the CPR cards the same day, and said it would arrive by July 3, 2014. I still have not received anything. I am afraid that if I call back, he will ignore my phonecall or lie and say that he has already sent it. Another club member told me he has already refused to give a refund. I would like the CPR card that I earned, or my $35 back in the form of a check. I no longer have the credit card that I used to pay for this. The instructor is purposely trying to steal our money, and this is completely unacceptable.Desired Settlement: I want my CPR card that I paid for. It is not enough for the instructor to say that "it will be sent out" or "it has already been sent out". He will lie and keep the money. If I do not get the CPR card mailed back to me or proof that it has been sent, I want a refund of the $35 that I paid for, by check.

Review: I signed up for a BLS/CPR course on 12/1/13 for the class to be held on 12/21/13.I showed up at the 1000 class time at the location in Irvine and waited outside the meeting room with 1 other person who registered. We waited, but no one showed.I posted on Ready to Rescue's facebook wall asking if I was at the right location, and to see if anyone was coming. I left a voicemail as well, asking the same. I noticed on their facebook page that my post was deleted shortly after I posted it. I also did not receive a call back. The other person who was waiting with me (who signed up 2 days prior to the classdate) said they received an email about 15 minutes before class was supposed to start saying that the class was canceled, and suggested to them that they should take the online course.I did not receive said email.I waited for an hour, before leaving.I sent emails to both [redacted] and [redacted], who run the company, on 12/23/13 asking for an answer to why no one showed up to teach the class. I still haven't received a response.I paid a total of $99.98 for the course ($79.99, and $19.99 for the "New 2010 BLS Book"). I paid $5 to park in the adjacent parking structure to the location of the class. This link: https://plus.google.com/100945198238307100055/about shows their office hours as 9AM-5PM. I called them at (714) 915-7748, and have also called them at (800) 272-7634 listed here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/ready-to-rescue-irvine during their office hours on 12/23/13, but no one answered. Their other # (listed here" http://readytorescue.webs.com/about): (858) AHA CERT I called too, but no one answered.Desired Settlement: I demand an answer directly from both [redacted] and [redacted], either in person, or on the phone to why no one showed up on 12/21/13 at 1000 to teach the BLS/CPR course.I demand a full refund of the $99.98 I paid for the course and the book.I demand a full refund of the $5.00 I paid for parking in the parking structure adjacent to where the class was scheduled to be held.I demand a sincere apology from both [redacted] and [redacted], in person/phone, for wasting my time and money.
