The office manager at Rancho Dental Group, was extremely unprofessional when it came to our complaint. Long story short, Rancho Dental Group assumed that procedures my wife had done were not covered by our insurance, so they never bothered to submit the procedure codes to the insurance company. As a result, they overbilled us by at least $3000!
When we brought up the discrepancies in the charges, the office manager said they would "investigate with billing." It took FOUR MONTHS of calling and asking for updates. Every time we would get pushed off another week, another few days... each time we would call on those days (because we had not received any updates) she wouldn't be available. How convenient.
We ended up opening a complaint through our insurance to get them to deal with this. The dentist office never once admitted or entertained that they could have been in the wrong. Every time we contacted them they made it seem like it was our fault that the billing was wrong, and that "I did not believe you were owed a refund." Then they would just ignore us and hoped we would go away.
Absolutely miserable experience. Avoid them at all costs!
